Ripeness is a matter of taste and even that can vary between strains. People that like the couchlock indica pain relief "high" will want a lot of amber. People that want a very up, cerebral, functional "high" will grow sativas and cut them while they're clear or mostly clear. So, if you're all cloudy now, you're probably someplace in the middle. I like some amber. ;)

What kind of relief are you after? It's up to you...

Yea, I'm with you! I'm thinking I want to hold out for the amber to be plentiful...and the pistils are receding. Leaning toward the couchlock... ;)

I know I chopped too soon last time....partly because I had so many babies that were ready to flower in the Aeroflo. At this time I am still messing with the seedlings, so nothing will be in the Aeroflo for a while. I am going to cut some clones this weekend to start that process...

These girls will have all the time they need...

I'm not even seeing all cloudy yet. I checked a couple spots this AM and I'm still seeing 90% clear....have to really search to find cloudy ones, as they are few & scattered.

When the are ready I'll be waiting...hahahaha

Well, today is day 76!! The buds are getting swollen & heavy....so much that they are starting to sag...I actually lowered my lights a little last night.

They are looking good, but there are still a lot of pistils that haven't turned color....and I am still less than 50% cloudy on the trics....

So I am waiting.......

Hahahaha, yea man, it is gonna be a little late.

Dunno why I can't get them finished closer to the calendar date....they are progressing, but still not ready.

The buds are getting heavy enough that the stalks are bending over....if it weren't for the make-shift netting that I put in mid-way I think they might have fallen over by now!!

As good as they look, I don't think that I will end with 5 lbs....lol But I am pretty sure that I will blast past the haul of the last grow! I have finally reach a point that I think about 50% of pistils have turned color and I am seeing more cloudy trics, but still not at 50% yet....

So my Christmas might be late this year! I may be starting the New Year posting some good Bud-Porn...hahahaha I'm hopeful!!!

now that there is no light leaks i'm wondering why too.

i'm no geneticist, but i think it has something to the seeds you have. maybe when they were pollinated, the new offspring had a long flowering gene. or the parents had it.

ak47 is supposed to be only a 6 to 8 week strain (from the seedbank i checked out)

with your setup, you should look at a strain like top44. done in 44 days. you'd be saving almost 40 days of flowering time.

Well that is part of the problem...I am still dealing with the mixed up strain issues....so current buds I am not sure if AK or WW..

The seedlings, that I just cloned from are all AK-47. So if I have the same thing happen next grow I will be changing strains.

I have done some looking at different strains...and one I would like to find, but haven't been able to, is "Dieselrella"...a mix of NY Diesel and Cinderella 99. It sounds like some kick-ass, with high yield.....but I can't find it anywhere.

If you see it anywhere let me know!!!

The calendar dates on strains are based on averages using whatever growing style/lights/etc that each seedbank uses and they aren't local. It's just to give you an idea of when, not a date.

Let's see what happens with your next grow with cloned mothers from seed. ;)

haven't heard of dieselrella. i've heard that cindy99 is pretty kick ass by itself.

i had good luck with my one seed order from nirvana. if you sign up for their emails, they'll have these offers called weekend whoppers that are pretty cheap. i got feminized seeds to try out one of these days.

In ordered Ice from Nirvana and of the two I started both germed well, one has had some problem but they are only two weeks old.
I ordered 5 WW from Amsterdam Seeds started 3 and only one germed. So going with these this grow.
