We recently have had issues with 2 blacklists reporting false positives and I was able to get 3 members removed from one of the blacklists. However, today I found the same 3 (and another) were back on the blacklist so I lowered the weighting (which may result in more REAL spammers registering) and contacted them again. Once removed from the lists, again, I'll raise the weighting, again, but if it keeps coming back I'll have to permanently remove the offending blacklists or keep the weighting low.
1 blacklist is only reporting IP, the other is reporting username/email/IP so I know that they are false positives. This is also happening at my other forums so it's clearly a bug with the blacklists. If you get blocked (and you're not a scumbag spammer) don't take it personally; I am working on it. Just keep an eye on this thread and try again later.
I'll update this thread when I know more...

I've made some changes to the anti-spam system to, hopefully, eliminate the false positives for registered members here and at my other forums. I requested removal of several members that were flagged as spammers by botscout but they kept getting re-added so I tweaked the system.
Hope that helps...
