Back for another good old grow !!

Postby nineandfive » Mon Nov 03, 2014 4:36 pm

Well hello LED Grow Light forums ! So i figured that i would make a return to showcase another grow i am about to under go. Been off for a while do to work and being just plain old busy ! Since then i have under went a couple of grows some photos some autos and kind of rest my thinking on a couple of things towards nutes and set up... Since my last grow journal on here i ve been experimenting lots on sub culture. TGA is always talking about organics but most of all his super soil which caught my eye. Now i DID NOT come up with my own recipe to a super soil BUT Gerneral Hydroponics has a Sub Culture M and a Subculture B that i have been playing with to HUGE success. Long story short off of 3 autos i did i gathered 5.5 ounces........dry. Not bad considering that the strains were all low riders. Now yes that could of very well been a total fuke or even the genetics could of been just solid for those seeds. Either way it got me in to thinking more. So i figured ill try my luck on some more autos and showcase the process once again to all you fine folks !

Ok so heres the list :

3 Delicious Seeds Sugar Black Rose Auto - These are some seriously under estimated seeds. I never understood why there not more popular. I ve been keeping a eye on them this last little while cause the THC is 18% BUT its the CBD that actually really high on them as well. Funny that more Wellness places don't offer them cause even the feminized version is supposed to be stronger in THC and CBD.

Also

3 Heavyweight Fast and Vast Autos- Now these are very interesting. The reason i choose these.... Well there claiming that in 8 weeks they can produce up to 600-800 g/m2. So with a claim like that...... hell yes i am in !
http://www.heavyweightseeds.es/en/fast-and-vast.htm

The way this is all going to work is i am going to split my 2 SS in to separate tents.
2 California Light Works Solar Storms..... One Being a 400w and the other a 440w
2 3x3 Tents
General Organics full nute lineup
General Organics Sub Culture M and Sub Culture B
Hygozime
Terpinator - which i think is the best thing ever created !!!!!!
Pro Mix HP Medium

The tents will have different fan set ups. But relatively there pretty much the same. 3 seeds will be at home to my 3 Gallon Air Pots which i still use. However 3 other seeds will placed in Botanicare 12 inch Hercules pots ( Which i swear is the best thing ever. These pots i like better then the air pots ! They are a bit pricy however i would recommend the shit out of them ! )

Now all 6 seeds Have been soaking and paper toweled. The SBR seeds are actually in the pots already where the Heavyweights are still in the paper towels. There is really not to much to show at the moment but i guess i can take some pics and throw them up here in a day or so.

Peace for now !

So like i said theirs not to much to really show at the moment. Seeds are in the pots and now just waiting to see some action. However 1 seed from each of the strains iam having problems with. One wont open and one .... i have no clue how to explain it but the seedling tail just wants to make a ball....... not to sure what to make of it. But if the 2 arnt going to do anything then ill have enough room to move over 2 pots and eliminate one tent for this.

Autos from what i have experienced are finiky as hell. I have experimented with different nutes with them and for some reason i found that the organic nutes seem to do the best. Plus you can almost over dose them on organic nutes and the consequences aren't that sever. Now dont get me wrong. Damage can be done. But ive played with Fox Farm on the autos and Green Planet Nutes. They seem to do best with little attention with organics.

The lights are hanging at 12 inches and when i see signs of life they will get raised to 16 inches. Lights are running 24/0 right now. But will cut that back to 18/6 when i see some signs of good healthy life.

Hey Bud ! As far as the Hercules pots go there very similar to the Air Pots as in the medium dry out very evenly and if the roots do come out its the same kind of concept that the air pots have for air pruning. I like them a lot ! more then the air pots to be honest. After my problems i had with the Smart Pots i went on a mission to find something better lol... Smart pots don't flush out as well as these two other ones do. After using the Fox Farm nutes on some of the grows you could actually see the salt build up along the walls of the fabric. And i swear up and down that was the demise to some of the other grows to come after.

However i know i have talked to others that use them and love them. I never threw mine away. But am going to wait till next summer and try them out side. With watering and rain i think that they might be better there.

The Hercules pots tho every plant i have done so far seems to really like them. The size of these ones are way over kill for the autos. But once there done i am going to do a 4 plant run of Blue Dream. Been waiting to do that one for a long time.

Only one complaint i have with the pots. I am not to sure why or how come but that last grow i finished / Had to kill was a supposed BC Bud Depot Animal Cookies. Now i dunno if it was poor genetics or if it just loved living in the pot. But no joke i actually super cropped that thing 3 times and it just kept growing. The bad deal to it was it stretched its self way to much. If i hadn't super cropped it as many times as i did it would of been around 6 feet tall. But it took a weird turn for the worst. It kept shedding its leave to a point where there was nothing left. And the bud was just not filling. It was on week 10 and had no crystals. some many say lack of feeding. I was triplling the feed doses and it just kept eating. How do i know this. Well it would suck back 1 Gallon of water every 3 days. I killed it and moved on lol

I'll check out that Terpinator. Do you know what's in it? And what effect is on the plant?

You'll love the Blue Dream. I've grown it twice. Easy to grow and pretty high THC too.

Been trying to watch a few games here and there. Has been a busy fall so far. The weather has been unusually warm so trying to take advantage and get shit done outdoors.

I was watching test results on Urban Grower ( Remo ) and he was showing the papers he got back from the test results. OK now i watched the video a couple months back so i do apologizes ahead of time if i miss on the numbers a bit. However if i remember correctly he took two clones off the same mother. One Had terpinator the other did not. The test results came back as one plant having 19% THC the other with the terpinator was 23%. I used it on 2 of my 4 Black Jack autos and the 2 i used it on i swear looked like someone sprinkled sugar on them.

Yea the Blue dream i have been wanting to grow for a while now.. After these autos are done that will be the next on the list to knock off. I got a bunch of freebies the last couple months. Mostly autos. I am not a overly huge fan of them. But its fun to see how lighting fast those things are. I see now that HSO actually has Blue Dream Autos.

hey SME.... Sorry if the links arnt supposed to be on here! I cant remember what the rules are.. If they need to be deleted i understand!

You're good man... ;)

Ok so its been a while... ok its been a long while since i did a update. However with work its been crazy so its been hard to work 14 hours a day and then type on here lol....

Ok SO a bit has changed. 1 out of the 3 Sugar Black Rose just didn't want to pull through. Which i guess happens from time to time with seeds. I cant say that i seen that coming cause i figure one for sure was going to be a no go considering it was missing half its shell to begin with. However its was the other one that was a bit of a surprise. It started out really strong and looked like a good healthy seedling until for some reason decided that its taproot need to grow upwards and righ out of the soil which i am guessing was its demise.... No joke it committed suicide so to speak lol. So the last and only SBR got moved in to the tent along with my other SS to just grow with the Heavyweights.

Also i dunno if i was to high last or what... however i did say that i was putting all 3 Heavyweight in to my Hercules pots. Well that was true but some way i ended up putting 2 in 5 gallon pot and 1 in a 3 gallon.......... seriously... i don't know what happen there lol !!

Ok so the fist set of pics on here are going to be from week 1. The pics are a bit behind. But ill put up week 2 pick on here that were taken today. Now they are starting to get nutes and the Heavyweight are really doing good with them. Very very intrested in them and see what will happen considering there supposed to be a 7 week strain
