Sophieseedwell here. I am trying desperately to load my pictures and I must say I am a failure. I keep getting the reply that
they are too large. I have tried cropping, etc. to no avail. Imagine. I can grow something, but dam....I can't figure out the basics on my computer!
I am two weeks now into my "grow" having started my seeds in Grodon underneath my Solar Storm 400. The light is set
18" inches above the plant. My plants are now three inches tall. I must say they look good. I chose 18" as they are fragile
having started them from seed. My light is on 24 hours a day. ph 6.27, ppm 899. I am currently running the nutrients on
the weaker side. Hopefully I will have some picture some day.

Try "resize" instead of crop.
Maintain aspect ratio.
Try in the 800 pixel range
Save as .jpg

I think your pH is a bit high too...

Stealth Hydro and their nutrients... they recommend "anything between 5.8 and 6.8 is ok. But 6.5 works best." (quote)
I really don't have much of an issue with the ph not settling in when I change the water. General Hydroponics Maxi Grow and
Maxi Bloom are nicely buffered nutrients.

Most rockwool and hydroton based hydro systems like it best around 5.8. Are you sure that the SH is not a nutrient for soil grows? GH nutrients are good. As long as your plants are happy but watch out for pH based issues, just in case.

Yeah, you need to resize those pictures down more but we're making progress.
Now I see a tote/dwc bucket with some small but seemingly healthy plants.
(Some pictures in normal lighting helps sometimes too. )

You can go a little wider than that if you want but that's pretty darn close.
Don't forget to write down whatever size it is so you can do all of them that size...
