Congrats young lady,

Good to see those pics, take some with the SS400 off, under normal light.

Peace out,

GR

Week Three of Grow. Solar Storm 400, 3" x 3" growing area. ph 6.08 ppm 918. Water to be changed tomorrow. Plants are
4-5 inches tall. Plants appear lush; my pictures just don't do them justice. The plants are a vibrant green, not a washed out green as the photos show. Temp in room 75-78 degrees, humidity 55-60%. I am watching closely the amount of heat the
light gives off based on my reading of other gro journals on this forum.

CLW SS 400 Grow Journal
Week Four
Plants 6 1/2" tall
ph 6.08
Temp 75-78 Degrees
PPM 1089
Humidity 55%

I am extremely impressed with regard to the lush healthy appearing growth. I have been able to maintain temps under
80 degrees with the door to the room closed and a small circulating fan. The light remains 18 inches above the canopy.

That DWC tote looks like it's already starting to get crowded on top. How tall do you plan on growing them before flowering? Are you transplanting into another container to flower?

In one of your earlier pictures the leaves look kind of yellow, is that from something else or did they need more nitrogen?

Good Evening Sister. I was hoping you would be on........I appreciate your questions as well as your comments. As I started these plants from seed in rockwool, my references state that I need an additional 3 weeks of vegetation time, which would
bring me to a total of seven weeks before I turn to flower, or October 21, 2013. My "container hold 6 plants, and the strain
that I am growing is Critical Kush, a plant that is more compact....18 to 22 inches in height. I have grown this strain before and
I thought I had good luck with it. However when my plants were turned to 12/12 I did some stretch with the plants finally
finishing out in height at about 26 inches. I do have the room for the height. I have to admit my pictures as poor; although
I am using a fine camera; a Canon EOS 20D. The leaves on the plants are a solid lush green. I see no evidence of any nutrient
imbalance. Historically I remove leaves as they discolor and not do too much trimming.

Under the CLW SS 400 I am thinking that I could move faster to the flowering stage...what do you think? The plants are so lush and vibrant compared to my previous grows.

Now I would like to ask you a question and I know its been beaten up over and over again. How does one calculate yield..
based on the watts of an LED the draw wattage? What should I expect?

Good morning...

I'd say that it takes most plants from 1-2 months to mature enough to flower from seed (depending on genetics of course) but that's one reason I prefer clones.

Your tote holds 6 plants but they *look* very close together, plants need room, especially if you're letting them get big. I'm not familiar with your strain though and it could be an optical illusion or something.

The flowering stretch is normal and, depending on genetics, plants will double or triple (maybe more) in size from the time you start 12/12 until harvest. I tend to let the plant shed unneeded leaves by itself but I do understand the temptation.

CLW 400 Week Six, Three week seedlings, Three week Veg

ph 6.02
ppm 883
Temp 78.1
Humidity 57%
Plants 14" tall

CLW LED 12" from top of canopy. Will go into Flowering Stage next week.

"Wild" growth is demonstrated. Plants are lush, nice green. I continue to watch closely the temperature in my small grow area
due to previous posted concerns on the amount of heat generated from the light. I have had no difficulties.

A few pictures, with normal lighting, will help us see the lush green instead of glowing purple. ;)

Today, I have completed week #2 of flowering. Lights on 12/12

PH 5.89
temp 75.9 degrees
ppm 1189 General Hydroponics Bloom nutrients, PK 13/14, and 1 tsp/gallon "Micro"
Humidity 55%
Plants 26 to 31" tall. I can go no higher with the CLW light. Plants are using approximately 4-5 quarts of water daily.

I am suprised as to the amount of height or stretch that the plants have achieved under this light compared to my previous grows. I am hoping that some of the closeup of the leaves may help in determining if in fact I have a bit of nutrient burn or.....

White pistiles are beginning to appears out of the bracts
