I'm Rick. I am doing my review on the 'Solar Storm 400W' by California Light Works. I currently have a 4'x4'x6' grow tent, with 9 cannabis plants growing in them. I use soil as my medium of grow, and my personal choices of nutrients. First off, I do admit that the Solar Storm 400W is a very quiet light, it barely makes a noise. Secondly, it does not emits tons of heat like a HPS light. I do like how it does have a ‘Veg’ and ‘Bloom’ switch, and a UVB switch as well. I do not work for California light works in any sense, this is a very independent review. I will be posting weekly, (and posting pics) about any progress and any problems I come across. For specs of the 400W Solar Storm, you can go to their website. I don’t feel like going into detailed specs of the item. I would like to see what type of results the light brings. Thank you.

What kind of genetics did you choose? What size HPS lights were you running? What kind of yield were you getting with your old light and what do you expect to get with your SS? You do know that the light is too small for flowering in a 4x4 area, right?
