Equipment: Perpetual grow system using aeroponics/ NFT, rail type system Clone/ Vegetative Lights: 400w Metal Halide w/ added H5 fluorescent Flowering Lights: 400w SolarStorm and 200w SolarFlare LEDs (Bloom) Grow Area (for the SS 400w only) = 4' x 4' PPM Meter is calibrated on the 442 (.7) scale
Nutrients/ Water: Botanicare- Pure Blend Pro Advanced Hydroponic Recipe, plus some customized additives. I use regular tap water, which is at 250ppm to start. It uses chlorine, not chloramine, so I just let it sit for 24 hours before use.
Environment: The clone/ veg room is kept between 75-85 degrees, with 70-80% humidity. The flower room is kept between 70-80 degrees, with 65-75% humidity.
In this journal I will document a continual grow, for the purpose of providing feedback on the California Lightworks 400w SolarStorm. Although I will be using this unit only in the flower phase, and will be providing feedback for that portion of my grow, I will gladly answer questions on any aspect of my grow or system. To make this an accurate experiment, and to not contaminate the data for the 400w SolarStorm, my flower room will be divided into two portions. Unless otherwise stated, any plant data and/ or pictures will be based on the 400w SolarStorm only.

Disclaimer: I still use HID and I'm NOT an LED expert. All of my LED knowledge is from other parties or research so I can't say from first hand experience one way or another. I also run a medical grow consulting business in SoCal.
Think nothing of it, it just makes it easier for people looking for CLW grow info if they find it all in the same place.
I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of your hydro system; we had other growers using Aero/nft hybrid systems and it's always nice to see other options.
