Just to add my $0.02 to the denser buds from LED growing.
I am in bloom phase (1/2 way point) on my W.W. that I have been growing for several years and I notice buds that are forming like "cabbage" heads.
The white pistils are very dense and fine.
Will post a pic, but I have never seen this.
"popcorn" looking yes, just never like this.

Light intensity and sufficient w/sqft is what makes flowers more dense but you're only 1/2 way done and the last half is where they start packing on the weight so give it some time and see if you feel the same when they're done. I still say that LED is better suited for veg and clone stages but it really depends on what you're comparing it to also.

I'm interested to see what your final product looks like.
Do you have any buds left over from previous HID grows? A direct comparison would be great!
btw I have also noticed that low temperatures (below 70F at night) can cause excess stretching and looser buds despite proper lighting conditions. Just something to look out for...

The final product looked quite similar, except was "more sticky".
As for quality, what a difference.
I have never grown this strain as potent as this harvest was.
I had old harvest(s) to compare to and the LED is superior.

dwcled, I found the same thing when growing under LED, although I did not get as high of a yield (comparing 180w LED 357 Magnum to 600w HPS), but wasn't too far away. My highest yield from the Magnum was 7.5oz but the quality blew my other through the roof. It was a big learning curve for me when I decided to grow under LED, but now that I have I will never go back. I have now been growing under LED for 1 year now and my results keep getting better as I become more experienced with the technology.

YUP, I am never going back to HPS unless I have to (emergency?).
Everyone who has sampled the product agrees that this was the "best ever".
I actually broke out in a cold sweat when I tried it and it takes a lot for something to affect me like that.
No kidding, I keep an emergency oxygen tank and mask handy as I have had two people pass out from stuff I grew.
Not me as of yet, but I am prepared.
Won't do much good though if I can't get the mask on in time...........

Well, I've been smoking and growing since the 70s and I'd have to see that to believe it. Unless they already have lung issues, I'm just not buying that. Sorry...
If you really think that it's THAT potent, you should have it lab tested...or SME tested.

Anytime you want to sample let me know, however since you are doing morphine, I don't think you are gonna notice anything.

I've literally smoked with hundreds of people and never seen one pass out. I've seen quite a few fall asleep after but not one pass out. *shrug*

I don't know exactly how local but I'd guess that it's about 20-25 miles, give or take 5. I was serious that you should have your stuff lab checked but I was only kidding about the SME test, not that I'm not curious or willing.

Using MJ as a sleep aid is not new.
I have been doing this since the 60's and have only seen two people pass out (on me) and a bunch just go to sleep early.
