Day 110-58

A look at the canopy today, and will be the last photo update for another 5 days.

Would experienced growers describe this is as a "normal" looking canopy for scrogs? I think it's weird some colas are already fat and well developed (though shorter) while some branches are super tall and filling up slowly.

How bad of a light leak and where?

The fucking dehumidifier, left side of the screen. I put a towel on top of it when I first got it because the LCD screen for controls is quite bright. I removed it to wash it about a week ago, and forgot to put a new one there. It's likely the left side of the canopy's been exposed to light at night for a few days (no more than a week). Only reason I noticed is because someone on another forum said some of my buds looked like his when he had a light leak... so I checked.

This is fucking bullshit TBH, such a noob mistake.

I wonder though, how come moonlight doesn't affect flowering for those plants that grow outside?

What color LCD?

Don't panic...

Good genetics can handle a little light stress so you may be OK.

Moonlight can affect flowering. MJ in the wild tends to be hermaphroditic, it's a trait we try to breed out of modern genetics.

The screen is illuminated by white light. It's faint but since there are actual branches stroking the screen they must have been exposed for certain.

I checked all 47 branches coming out of the net for signs of male flowers and nothing so far, so hopefully the crisis was averted.

You'll definitely want to keep an eye on the sites closest to the LCD for a while but you might be ok.

Ok.

Should make flowers appear, what's the protocol? Chop off those buds and burn them into the fires of incompetence?

At the very least you'll want to remove the male flowers. Since you're SCROG'ing you can't kill the whole plant. ;)

If it does turn hermie I wouldn't grow that again...

Between the nute burn and this, there is no doubt my yield will be impacted, probably severely. It was wishful thinking to hope for a flawless first grow, but c'est la vie, I guess.
