Purple/pink/blue colored strains look good but are nothing special to smoke. I'm amazed that so many people pay extra for colors.
I like the ones that smell or taste "fruity" more than the colors.
YMMV...

Do you have an all time favorite strain, or top 3 perhaps?
I was thinking of growing a batch of White Widow or White Russian next. I assume the high THC content would be hard hitting and a perfect strain to go to bed.
70's Thai Stick Skunk (the skunkier (is that a word?) the better) Maui Wowie (also from the 70s-80s)
As far as modern stuff goes I really liked the Blue Crack that I tried but I have a few others that I want to try too...

I "studied" my canopy and realized all the tall branches actually came from plant #1 (exposed to light leak) while all the shorter/denser buds could be traced back to plant #2. I initially thought the tall branches only happened to be in the periphery because both plants were mixed up in the middle of the screen, but it is not the case.
What tipped another grower on the light leak were the long single bladed leaves, atop the tall branches, which looked identical to his plant which was exposed to a light leak. What worries me is that in his grow, his plants never recovered or bulked up like they should have even after he resolved his leak.
There is no doubt I'll be harvesting plant #2 much sooner than the other plant, but I'm still hoping that by leaving it to flower for a few more weeks it'll ripe ok.
Are you sure it was only a few days? I wouldn't it expect that to do too much damage unless they turn hermaphroditic.
Don't panic...

I may have been wrong. That's a photo of the top of one of the long branches.
These long single bladed leaves, what are they? It looks like they started out as sugar leaves and then the plant reverted in vegging and grew them out like this instead.
Or is that normal?
On the other hand, the other plant is doing much better.
The single leaf thing is a sign of stress but how much it hurts your yield has yet to be seen. Just keep an eye on it and see what happens. Don't let it stress you out though, you can always grow more.

It's the hermie pollen sacks that you want to catch...so you don't get seeds. You'd still get a harvest it would just be less potent and it'd have seeds. Just keep an eye out.
Don't panic...
