I'm going to start chopping off plant #1 soon, but the entire harvest will probably happen over 2 weeks.
Some branches are well ahead of others. One is showing amber trich and is quite filled up, but other branches will need another 2 weeks to reach this stage, based on previous observations.
Those pictures of the bud structure look incredible. Good to hear about the high, km definitely has piqued my interest now. I am actually trying one of Simon's sativas out in my next run, a high-cbd strain called "yummy".
I concur with SME about the taste, From my experience, quick-dried bud has a pretty dirty taste. I believe A lot of that is the harsh chlorophyll taste that goes away with curing. So I wouldn't worry, most likely that stuff is going to turn out amazing by the looks of it
You going to do a journal? CBD Yummy is what I'm running next. The description "Tropical fruit salad , exotic richness with delicious mouth watering tastes" really turned me on.
One reason I chose it is I am wondering if the 5% cbd content makes a noticeable difference in the effects...I like an energetic buzz too and hoping that yummy has that, as well as anti-inflammatory properties. I will be doing a journal about it and some other plants that are now vegging.
I've begun harvesting plant #1. This will be a slow process as the canopy is uneven in ripeness. It'll probably take a full two weeks to harvest it all, then another week of drying, before we have a final dry weight.
Until then there won't be much of any update since it's all the same happening over and over again.
Yes, you can selectively harvest but any time you cut/prune a plant it causes stress; the less the better.

I have final dry weight on plant #2: 141.38g or 4.99oz. Based on canopy coverage of plant #2 vs #1, and what the canopy looks like now, plant #1 should yield between 7 and 10oz.
Sadly I doubt I will pass the 1g/w barrier for this grow, but now that I have an idea of what I am doing, this next grow should improve on the last.
I will let you all know the total dry weight of the other plant once harvested, but it'll take a few weeks still.
I'm just happy the light leak didn't mess too much up
Yeah, you're not going to hit that mark this time but you'll do better next time. The question is; are you going to do the same style of grow (SCROG) with the same genetics or try something different?
I'm already looking forward to your next journal!

I'm not growing Kali again until I will run out. I'll end up with close to a pound of dried buds. It will last me many months for sure (I usually go through about 1oz/month).
My next grow will be CBD Yummy. The seeds arrived last Friday.
The description, "Tropical fruit salad , exotic richness with delicious mouth watering tastes" was inciting. Plus I want to see what a high with 1:1 of THC:CBD ratio looks like.
This second grow will be with the SS400W again, so I think a scrog is not only a good idea, but it's almost necessary if you want to get the most out of them. The penetration is really awful.
