Nice, thanks for finishing up...and giving them your opinions on the light. While you did skip a bit I still think will be a valuable journal for other members to see so they can make their own decisions. Your feedback further backs up what I've been saying for a long time. One day I think we will see LED lights that flower as well as HPS, hopefully even penetrate as well but HPS is still the better flowering light...for now. LED lights veg very well.

The SS400w and SS800w both use the same 5w diodes so I wouldn't count on much more penetration, if any. More coverage or more w/sqft in the same space, of course.

Yeah I'm looking forward to the future of LED growing potential now as well. In all honesty, I don't think I would have tried the Solarstorm if it weren't for the Grower Feedback Program (due mainly to my cost constraints) but now I have to say that I'm really glad I participated in the program because it "made me a believer" in the potential of LED's... plus I really like my new light!

Anyway, I think it's awesome that California Light Works offered the GFP- I have a feeling it's going to generate lots of interest with people who might not otherwise consider using LED's. So thanks CLW for doing the GFP! Hopefully we'll see more companies doing similar programs.
