Rky, I'm not sure what they cost at my local shop but there probably not cheap since they keep them behind the counter. I'll definitely be keeping a close watch to see how well they preform. I always have to adjust the ph of floranova it seems like I have to use WAY too much ph up to get a normal ph and that's what interests me about CES is the claim that the ph will adjust as the plants eat the nutes.
SME, if it is a phosphorus deficiency should I just up the nute schedule maybe LF then 1/4 strength with my plain RO three days later? I always have at least 20-30% run off so I'm not worried about salts at this point.
IF it's a P def then it depends on what is causing the P def. If it's just not enough then you can try adding more nutrients or adding something else that's mostly P. If it's a P lockout due to too much Calcium or other nutrients then adding more P won't help. You can try bumping the LF but you really need to keep an eye on them because soils buffer some nutrients and you don't want to swing too far in the wrong direction. If you do bump it, make small changes and give them a few days to respond, any sign of nutrient burn or toxicity should warrant a flush and adjust down. It's hard to say since all we have to go by is some purple stripes. Flowering plants do need more P so it's probably just a simple def but not always.

I just did a normal feeding but was surprised because I just watered 2 days ago and it was almost bone dry, never thought a 3 gallon smart pot would dry up that fast inside. I think the SWOG is starting to eat/drink up a lot faster. root density? The plant has a lot of leaf and if it wasn't tied down would probably be around 4' tall
It seems like there are more stripes of purple tonight than last night. Will just have to wait and see what happens. I can't imagine a lock out since my flush.I think they have had LF full strength once...now twice might have flushed the P out when I flushed then by only going back with LF at 1/4 strength it might have caused a deficiency. hopefully it will smooth out in the next week or so.
I really appreciate all the wonderful advice, and the quick response.
SME, do you have any grow journals online to look at?
I had some journals on the old overgrow forums but they're gone...
I joined here 4 days before my accident so I won't be able to start growing again until after my surgery...

13 gallons total (8 RO and 5 well). I add nutes and the pH is about 6.4. I adjust down to 5.8. Then next a.m., pH is 6.2. I adjust down to 5.8. It's at 5.8 for the rest of the 8 days. at day 10, dump and refill.
SME, what kind of an accident? I have a misaligned pelvic bone that causes a lot of sciatic pain from an accident as a kid "truck surfing" lol
Rky, I thought I read on there site that there was no need to adjust ph. I'd really like to try them maybe next go around after my current nutes run out. Floranova is so thick I wouldn't recommend using in a hydro system without some kind of prefilter on the pumps intake and it seems to need a lot of ph up when mixing.
I am looking for a good recipe for making cannabutter with trim. Does it need to be cured before cooking? How long should it cook? What temp is to high? Would coconut oil be better to use? Are there any secrets to making butter strong?
The kind where a guy runs a red light and t-bones my suv rupturing a disk.

Back again it seems as though the new growth has no red/purple on the stems but now I seem to have a lot of claw leaf on my flowers only, and it seems as though it is very dark green I'm thinking maybe to much nitrogen? My PH is still stable around 6.4-6.7 I don't want to flush if I don't need to. I would post pictures but I do not have access to a computer. It has had only floranova bloom the entire grow so I'm kinda of surprised if it is to much nitrogen it is only affecting my SOG which is now on day 35 of 12/12
I'd want the pH above 6.5, personally. Too much N *can* lock out P so post more pics (in normal lighting) and maybe we can pin down the issues. I doubt it's nitrogen toxicity but that depends on how much FNB/gallon you're using I suppose.
