Update, trichs are almost all cloudy but no amber as of yet. School is kicking my ass aerodynamics is a lot to take in in 6 days along with physics. Jut one more day, tomorrow is crunch day for the final I haven't gotten around to taking more pictures yet. Maybe on Thursday I will have some time for a photo shoot.
SWOG is drinking a gallon minus 30 run off everyday and each time the ph is 6.3 then I put 6.7 and last time 6.8 till 6.5 is coming from the run off Its feed water water feed
1 gal r.o. At 7.6 replaced 10% with tap water 3ml calmag Stir stir stir...stir
Shake the shit out of FNB Shake more....reminds me of being 13 Add 5ml Stir........stir lol this is surprisingly calming after school Put in gallon jug shake Wait 40 shaking every 10 minutes Check ph 5.1 Wait 30 ph 5.1 Wait 15 ph still 5.1 Adjust up by 5 drops Wait, check 5.1,wait,check 5.1 Adjust 10 drops shaking every 5 drops Wait, check 5.8,wait,check 5.8 wait , check 5.8 Adjust 15 drops shaking every 5 drops Sleep then the next night Check 6.4 Adjust 5 drops wait, 6.4,wait, 6.4,wait ,6.4 Adjust 12 drops wait,6.5,wait ,6.5,wait,6.5 Adjust 10 drops wait,6.5,wait,6.5,wait 6.5 Let sit for an hour check 6.6 ,wait, 6.6,wait,6.6 Adjust 6 drops wait, 6.7,wait, 6.7,wait,6.7 Wait 1 hour still 6.7 time to water Initial run of 6.3 run off after 1 gallon back to 6.5 again
What would happen if I blended this in the vitamix?
Any idea why the ph of my soil keeps dropping to 6.3 when it drys out? Same thing happens to both plants but the kushberry seems to be recovering better than the SWOG but still has a red line up the main stem but it's starting to put on a lot of mass.
Thinking about doing a flush outside of the smart pot is getting a lot of salt build it looks like. I will post pictures tomorrow!
Since you know that you need several stages of pH adjustment, you can use more for the first adjustment and taper off when you get closer. That will save you some time. If you always end up using about 30 drops then add 25 the first time and and you'll barely need to adjust after it settles.
It's been a long time since I messed with soil grows but I believe it's caused by oxidation when dry. I don't remember if that's exactly right.

I see multiple deficiencies; I see a potassium def (yellowing margins with necrotic tips) in the SWOG, I see what looks like an iron def (yellow veins) in the kushberry and I see the purpling of the stems which CAN indicate a phosphorus def but it could also just be a plant with purple genetics. Also, not all P def symptoms go away after treating so, if you HAD a P def and treated it with a LOT of P that could cause the iron def too.
I know you're almost ready to harvest so you may or may not want to just let it go this time and work on healthier plants next time. If you really want to address the issues now, you might add a little Bloombastic which has PK and iron. If not, keep it in mind if you have similar symptoms next time.

Picked up some bloombastic figured I can try this time and if any problems arise in the future at least I have something to use. Now should I flush? before I use this stuff and how much should I use? The bottle says 2-4 ml per gal. with base nutes should I add CaMg to the R.O.? Should I lower the amount of base nutes? Same PH 6.7?
Kushberry is still a bit airy and all clear trichs still. I don't think I will harvest till I see some amber but I can't even find one yet lol. I have to say SWOG is very dense for the most part but I know that a week or 2, early can make big difference.
If you haven't flushed the salts out in a while it wouldn't hurt but otherwise, just add the bloombastic to your normal nutrient mix. I'd start on the low end, maybe 1-2ml/gal if it helps MAYBE bump it to 2-4 but you'll probably be seeing amber soon so you may not get much of a change before you harvest. A little CalMag with your RO is usually a good idea too. Yeah, if 6.7 in gives you 6.5 out then shoot for about that.
I like quite a bit of amber for the couchlock myself but I have been enjoying the cerebral up high from less amber too. It's all about what works best for you. Too early can be bad...

I flushed with florakleen last night two gallons per plant. Ph coming is 6.7 in 6.5 out. Hopefully it will be dry by late tonight. Should I flush the florakleen out? Btw does anyone know what florakleen is made of?
Then the next feeding I will do 3ml CaMg, 5ml FNB, 1.5ml bloombastic It's mainly for the kushberry that is a few weeks behind, the SWOG will come down when I see about 10% amber trichs
I don't know what it's made of but the label says: Potting Soil & Soilless Mixes: •Fill a watering can with fresh water and add 1 to 2 teaspoons Flora Kleen. Drench until there is runoff from the bottom of the pot. Resume your regular fertilizer schedule with the next watering.
Seems pretty safe...

Not really worried as much as I am curious, lol but I guess I will start with just the new nute program. I hope I can get to know the symptoms of deficiencies/ph/over fert and other common problems. I am hoping to be building my own high powered LEDs after I get out of school. I love experimenting with all sorts of things plants electronics toys lol. I really can't thank you enough for all the advice. I can't wait to get the next grow going see what kind of improvements I can make.
