What she lacks in length she makes up for in girth
Still trucking along. Closer to the net but not quite there yet. She's been bushing out quite a bit though.
I'm thinking I should have tied down the remaining branches after topping her. She definitely is sending the growth signals to the outside branches leaving the center lagging behind. But I think that's something the scrog net will sort out I did trim a few fan leaves to allow more light to the center.
pH and ec are remaining stable but she's a heavy drinker. My next grow I think I'll try the 2 bucket system I saw in the March issue of High Times.
Adding a second bucket as a controller bucket is very worth the effort in building. A step up from that would be (RDWC) "recirculating DWC." Always try to keep the water temps low too.

So the Kali has accepted the SCRoG challenge and is determined to overcome it. Several tops are ready to be trained back under the net and I've got a little trimming to do to give more nodes some light and allow more circulation.
Feels good to get more hands on with the training. Since she's a Sativa dom, I'll keep it going til about 50% of the net is full of nodes then I'll flip to flowering.
Going to try and get out to the store today to pick up supplies for the 2 bucket system. It'll be nice to simplify the res changes

Hopefully he connected the two buckets together with a hose so one can be used to remotely fill/drain/test. I didn't read the article he mentioned but I assumed he meant that the second bucket was a controller bucket. Maybe we'll see pictures...

Initially I used a manual water pump that attaches to a drill to/from another bucket. Then I noticed lubrication grease coming from the pump and realized it was likely contaminating the nutrients. So now I use 2 electic pumps, 1 in the res with a filter to keep out debris and 1 in the other bucket that I use to pre-mix and pH the nutes.
It works but it'd be a lot easier to have 2 buckets connected. Hind sight...
I'm confused. Run down your system (with pictures if possible) specs again for us?
