Hey Harley,

I had a ? about your last grow. The new one looks great BTW. I read on a seed site that White Widow does best if you turn the lights to only 8 hours ON for the last 2 weeks. Something about less growth and more resin production instead.

You do this or ever heard of it? I'm a bit skeptical.........

Rkymtnman I used diminishing light schedule I started at 12-12 then reduced a half hour each week until I got to 9 1/2 hrs lights on> Idon't think I would go as low as 8 hrs on. The White widow finished up about a week early. I like the way it smokes but I think I'm going to sick with 12-12 this go to see if the buds fatten up some. If I have some nice buds I might go with 9 1/2 in the last week and then 24 hrs dark before the chop.

I wouldn't starve the flowers, which fatten up most at the end, of 33% of the light that I can give it. Count me in as skeptical...

I still use HID and I'm NOT an LED expert. All of my LED knowledge is from other parties or research so I can't say from first hand experience one way or another. I also run a medical grow consulting business in SoCal.

I agree SME I will not use less than 12 hrs. of light again I think I lost some growth I have some new photos

I topped and defoled all the plants except the Super Silver two days ago and they look stunted. Gonna have to rethink defoliation. Here are some pic's
