Thank you Cal Light Works for this opportunity. I am a disabled vet growing for a few friends. This is grow #3, the first attempt was taken out by mites, #2 was beautiful. I purchased my dream equipment reciently which includes: 2 solor storms, 2 big blue ozone generators, 4 in for intake (mite control) 8 in for oder. co2 for flowering, Advanced Nutrients Hobbyist level grow, micro bloom. 3 grow tents, a 4 inline exhaust system, and Soil Grow Happy Frog dirt. The only thing I could not buy is a grower talent. I hope I have enough. All opinions welcome!

Thanks for the welcome, I will need your help. Inside a 3x3 I transplanted 4 insect plagued plants from an outside grow. I am blowing in ozone from a 4 in Big Blue into the tent,after 4 days no more bugs. The reason I did this is unless I can control mites during the summer there is no reason to grow here.Big Blue seems to be the answer. Therefor I started some fruity cronic, Hypnotic, and a med strain we call joes weed from seed.

If you have a mite problem outside; you'll definitely want to filter all air entering the grow room, inside, too. Keep an eye for flare ups as eggs hatch, you may not get them all with the ozone at first. How big are the plants?

The plants are about 12 in tall, with holes from buggs all over them. The new growth from the Solar Storm looks a lot better. I did put a filter and a screen on the intake.

Sounds like you have the mite issue under control.

So, what's your plan? Are you going to do some creative topping/pruning to get rid of the insect damage and allow more time in veg to replace with new growth or are you just going to flower when they get "X' big and start a new crop sooner? Ozone isn't good for plants, are you concerned about the o3 vs co2 levels?

I plan on running ozone for a few more days, topping next week, and veg them for a couple more weeks. The new growth under the solor storm looks good, darker green than the rest of the plant.I keep the air system running the whole time the ozone is on, I am not seeing any brown tip leaves.

It has been a good week for these plants. They were pretty beat from the mites and ozone treatment,holes in leaves from mites and dry light green leaves from ozone. As soon as I turned off the ozone they really came alive under the Solar Storm. I watched 4 sick plants in 1 week become healthy vibrant plants.I do not have a hole lot of hope that any of the 4 are females, they have been through a lot of stress.I am topping them today, and start flowering in 7 to 10 days.

I guess u already know stress tends to produce more males...topping is another form of stress so maybe waiting at least two weeks afterwords for recovery before initiating flowering so they can calm down. Sounds like they've had a stressful life thus far so a healthy break will do them well! Top lower if you have to in order to keep em short enough and cut off anything that's more than half dead in my opinion. Good luck, third time's the charm eh?
