Early week 7 pics
Ok, its a bit early but heres some recent pics.

Also, I got screwed on the chiller I won. The guy sent me a message saying they had no more in stock. I called the Co., and they said, "we still make it", "how many do you want"? So now I will be contacting ebay. He just doesnt want to hold up his end, because he is losing money. Fucker! Enough of the rant! Sorry.

On to the pics! h

And some close-ups. The trichs are looking pretty cloudy. Especially for only 6 weeks. I normally let the AJ go 10 weeks, but Im thinking 8 weeks is gonna be plenty. Must be the light, its the only thing different. h

Good to see you Bro, and Happy B-day to you!

Ya that really pisses me off. He's lucky I cant see him face to face! Ive only got a couple good beatings left, but I think I might use 1 on him.

The LED's are doing a shit job as usual. These girls aren't even 6 weeks old till Monday, and they look like the could be chopped anytime. Lol.

I will be giving them another go, or 2. My main concern is that with an Areo System you are completely reliant on Power for food, and if you lose it, they die in about 2hrs. Which brings me back to my idea of a hi performance RDWC. At least if the power goes out, the roots are still able to drink. If I do decide to stick with it, I will rig up some sort of emergency, gravity fed drip system. It really needs to impress me over the next couple grows though. Still want to build a badass RIWSDWC too. Maybe have it ready for Christmas smoke. Peace! h

I do not ebay. YMMV...

"RIWSDWC?"

recirculating ? ? ? deep water culture?

The wife, and I buy a lot of stuff from ebay, but we do usually stick to businesses with warranties. Both of my last transactions have been with private sellers. (Trying to get a deal) "Live, and Learn"

Lol. Well in my experimenting I've found they really like an occasional complete submersion to promote root growth higher up the net pot. So my idea is to start with an IWS system, link it together, and add a return pump, and you have a RIWSDWC. I just like building stuff. Lol. h

Oh...once a *DWC system has a well established root ball in the water, assuming there's enough oxygen, the level can be raised above the bottom of the net pot but if you want to create a hybrid that varies the water levels, that should be easy enough. DWC+EBB&FLOW more or less... ;)
