axlrose,

I have seen this one before also but unable to find much detailed technical info. I do believe that these are 3W or 1W diodes so I would not believe the 49 sq foot coverage estimate that they give you on the website. Did the light come with any literature that clarifies the diode wattage and the current (amp) use of the diodes?

Also, be mindful of the way that light companies use "full spectrum" in their marketing. I have never seen a truly full spectrum light. True Full Spectrum would mean that they use every wave length in the light spectrum. This would include a good portion of light that the plant does not even see or have any use for in development. This light appears to cover the important PAR ranges of the spectrum but it is not full spectrum, nor do you necessarily want it to be.

The other thing that caught my eye was the Red/Blue selectable dials. The adjustment dials for Red/Blue is a really interesting idea. Individually switched Red and Blue circuits are available on many lights but the dial is an interesting way to go about this. I would like to hear how it works for you. LEDs have been notoriously tricky when it comes to dimming. Do these dim up and down smoothly as you adjust the dial? Or do they dim a ways and then just "pop" on or off?

Have you put this through its paces yet? How are things working with it?

Thanks,
