Wow, it finally came after about a weeks wait and I am so far surprised at this beast of a light! I thought it would be made of a lighter aluminum but this Solar Storm 400 seems heavy at 16 lbs.! It came neatly packaged and some of the styro foam was damaged but not a scratch on the system itself. I flipped it on its back, put in the 2 T8 bulbs, plugged her in and BAM! What a light! It lit up the whole room even in the daylight! I was surprised to see how intense it was. I then toggled on the UV lights and a cool green hue lit up, and I was glad to receive a system with no deficiencies. I then switched over from veg to bloom and saw the color scheme change...cool! So I am well pleased at my reception of this awesome light and now can't wait for it's integration into to my grow cycle. I'll be putting up my tent soon and getting it all set but first have to get my seedlings to germ, nurse and transplanted. It should be in about 10 to 14 days and the SS400 will well be on its way to doing what she was meant to do and that's grow some Bomb Ass Bud!

Well it's now been a couple of weeks and I have germinated my seeds and they are now sitting pretty under the SS400 in veg mode. I've got the lights at a safe distance and will adjust according to the tolerance and growth of the girls and I'm looking forward to a great grow and yield.

1) It's not my forum, I'm just a moderator not the admin/owner. 2) It's not a problem of hacking or exploitation, it's a spam problem and I don't have the tools to deal with them easily. 3) Personally, I don't like the idea of driving ad traffic to youtube/facebook/twitter/instagram/etc.

Hope that helps...

Well I've switched up some plants since my last post because of room and height requirements. Under the SS400 where I was vegging my super skunk and white widow, which by the way gained good stem and leaf growth for the month it was under the SS400, had to move to my other tent because several were ready for bloom phase but my majority grow, at various ages, had to go in my veg HPS tent. In about about a week I'll be adding 2 of the original quickest growing SSkunk and WWidow plants to back to the 2'X4' tent under bloom of the SS400 and when the 2 that are blooming already become ready for harvest I'll keep 'em rotating into the bloom tent, with an offset that should leave 2 plants constantly in bloom. At least that's the plan. My blooming plants are about 2' 1/2" ft tall and I got the SS400 about 14-16" above it, covering the whole 3'X3' area. I have no heat issues and I just recently got my electric bill and I am happy to say that there is NO SIGNIFICANT INCREASE in my bill! So California Lightworks so far so good!
I'm confused about your whole setup. Are you planning on using 1 SS400 for flowering in a 2x4 or 3x3 space? What lighting were you using before? Soil - coco?
