from what i read, superthrive should not be used in flower because it has rooting hormone in it (and B vitamins). they say you don't want the plant to root and flower at the same time.
Maybe you'll see the problem that you see in your plants.
Superthrive is certainly better in veg than flower but I have known people that have used it throughout. Due to the growth hormone issue I think I would stop either before flowering or when they start forming.

Thanks for the quick feedback guys, I appreciate it. I will stop the Superthrive immediately...I was beginning to think that the buds were growing a little slowly, maybe this is why...Today is day 37, well into week 6 of a supposed 8-9 week harvest.
So I looked at your link SME, and have looked at others as well...I'm a bit stumped...I go between good old 'nute burn, or maybe too much Mg and then lockout? As a start, today I simply gave them a good flushing with RO with no nutrients or cal/mag at all, to see if anything happens.
Here is the family shot...the Skunk * Northern Lights cross in the front is very small, and I think is showing signs of simple nute burn...

Thanks in advance for your advice and comments as always!
Even with the leaf issues you are having the plants look nice and ohhhh sooo frosty! nice job!! really wish I had that LA #1 nug in that pic its like a resin machine, hahaha!!! thanks for continuing to share your results. great stuff. CL
I'm kind of leaning towards a K def with too much N but soil+botanicare isn't really my cup of tea so take that with a grain of salt. Maybe it's time for a good flush before the next feeding...

Day 42! Starting week 7....feeding schedule calls for reduced nutes going forward to a flush around day 60...harvest around day 62-65...so they say...we shall see...trichomes are mostly clear with just a little bit of hint of cloudiness...hairs are still mostly white with a hint of red...more red on the skunk than the LA's...
SME you can see here that the problem hasn't receded, but at least doesn't look any worse...and the bud development seems to be picking up nicely, with more than a dozen huge colas developing!!

I transplanted the LA Confidential clone I took from topping 7 weeks ago...she's looking healthy with no signs of shock..just need to keep her alive for a couple more weeks and the grow room should be ready for her!

These are two cuttings I took from the LA Confidential at the same time as topping her...kept them in a glass of water...had about 8 of them...and these two survived for the past 7 weeks! So, I gave them some rooting gel and give them a chance!

That's about it...I'm thinking these are more 9 week than the much hyped 55 day species...
Maybe it's our LED lights...but no way these are 13 days away....very very nice smell though!
How are your temps in the room? Slow/halted bud formation can be from heat stress. With one of my grows I had a plant on day 63 that looked like yours currently do at day 42. It was because my temps had reached the 90s for most of the day throughout the last few weeks. Also, most skunk plants go about 8-9 weeks. There's some cuttings out there, like Raskal's Super Skunk, which finish really quickly but it's more for commercial growing. For personal harvests, you want to take them out to the full 8-9 weeks most of the time. But the best way to tell is the trichomes, because some plants (mostly only pure sativa/haze) don't ever look like they are fully ripened by visual appearance. It's actually pretty cool to research if you're into the botany aspect of cannabis.
Getting real close here, day 50! As they start week #8, they are so very sticky and sweet, it's sad you can't appreciate it via this post!
Thanks Calyx, my temps (72-82), RH (31-40) and PH (7.2 in and 6.5 out) are all pretty much under control....
SME, I think you are right on because my friend who donated the LA clones to me took a look, and pretty much said they have had the same problem with them in a hydroponic set up every time. He told me the breeder they work with said it was a natural part of this particular strain....that they are using up nutrients in the big fans leaves as the buds plump up, and that as long as the sugar leaves are ok, there is nothing to worry about...

The trichomes are all white/cloudy already, I almost missed the turn from clear it happened so fast. You can see that LA #2 is a red head, with LA #1 a bit behind in that department...both are sporting some serious resin development.

The skunk NL cross is limping along, it is so uninspiring when compared to the LA Confidentials, I actually forgot to take a picture of her today! I'm learning a lesson here...the thing was a runt when I got it, and was a runt in veg...and is going to be one big cola with a handful of mid size nuggets...When I look at the LA girls, all I can think of is "what if I had six of these!!"....
So, fed today, and given the speed with which the trich's went cloudy, I'm cycling down the feeding schedule per instructions, last feeding on day 56...flush on day 59 and again on 61....should be ready between days 63-65 per my friend...I'm going to keep the fingers crossed on this one!
Feedback welcomed as always! ICB

Patience! Wait for 25% amber. Tastier, larger, more potent.
I see people wait through 6-8 weeks veg and then 8 more for bud but then fail to wait for amber. If 25% is amber then 50- 60% is cloudy. Fewer flat trichones.
