OK, so about two weeks since the last update and I waited a bit to be able to report more than saying things are moving along.
The overcrowding has been blocking some of the bud sites and I am impressed with the number of bud sites that are developing. Growth has been going well with no problems to report so far. The growth on the SS side is, to no surprise given the power of the light, showing more bud sites with stronger growth all around.
Here are some pics of the developing buds.

Sorry for the delay, have been out of town and decided to move some plants.
The story is that the plants were crowded and I decided to move the plants under the ProGro 400. Guess I need to change the name of this journal.
Anyway, I left the plants under the SS400 and have had a small case of lockout while I was gone, changed the nutrients (hydro) and they seem to be doing well. I plan to post some pictures today... And it sure is fun watching the buds grow!!!
Hello and sorry for the long delay in posting. I won't go into the details but here is the latest information.
As I said earlier I removed the ProGro400 as it was not performing as well as the SS400 and left several plants under the SS400 in a foot print of 4' x 2.5'. The plants are flowering nicely and are showing multiple bud sites throughout the height of the plant.
The plants are Pineapple Express and I decided to test cropping and trimming on several of them to see their response and so far the plants appear to be showing no ill effects. The one plant I cropped is showing multiple primary flower sites with the flowers not being as large as an untrimmed plant next to it.
I also trimmed some of the fan leaves to expose covered flowers and so far flower growth has continued so it appears on the surface that light trimming has not slowed growth. I should note that I have not grown this strain before so do not know for sure how the trimming may be affecting yield.
What else... I LOVE SEEING THE FLOWERS GROW!!!
It is a lot of fun to see the flowers swelling and starting to fill up. And I should say the it is day 39 of flower with the genetics pointing to a 55 - 60+ days of flowering. I am hoping to see the flowers really fill in and swell over the next few weeks.
Now here are the pictures and I apologize as I am using my phone to take these but I think you get the idea.

So, for anyone who is using Fox Farm Hydroponic nutrients, note that the soil and hydro Grow Big have labels that look alike except for the slight difference in color. So, don't be in a hurry and swoop in and pick of the soil Grow Big instead of the hydro one and then wonder why in the hell you cannot keep your ph stable!
We are back on track with the nutrients and are showing some leaf tip burn and some "rust" colored spots on a few of the leaves.
The plants seem to be humming right along so I will get to the bud porn...

I'm confused. The yellow lighting appears to be HPS but I cant see any mention of HPS in your older posts. Maybe I'm missing something?
They look pretty good though. I cant see the rust spots in any of the pictures either but it could be phosphorus, pH or mg. Keep an eye on it but it looks like you're nearly ready to harvest anyway.

That is HPS lighting that I removed the light barrier from in order to get some more light onto the plants for pictures so you are not confused.
I did not put in pictures of the spots as I am close to harvest, they have not worsened, and I check my measurements each day. It appears that I have some dead roots in my mass of roots that have grown together and am having an anaerobic condition that is lowering my ph. I am checking the ph multiple times per day and controlling as best I can until the plants are finished and yes, I should be nearing harvest. So far no cloudiness on the trichomes.
Maybe I'm still confused... You're using HPS just for pictures or for growth too?
Did you try a little hydrogen peroxide in the res to help clean up the dead roots? Anyway, you're almost done...live and learn.

The HPS was just for the pictures and I am only using the SS400 for the plants in this grow.
I started using hydrogen peroxide yesterday and so far it has helped to stabilize the ph. I am planning on starting to flush today as the trichomes started showing cloudiness last night.
Sister Mary, what are your recommendations on when to harvest? I am checking the plants each day now as there was such a rapid (to me at least) change from clear trichomes to cloudy in the course of yesterday.
The amber overload isn't the best for pictures, you can get a cheap clip-on work light with a soft-white bulb at home depot for pictures. That would show the true colors better I think.
When to harvest is a personal choice. Some people harvest while they're still clear, some when they turn cloudy and some when they have various percentages of amber. The more amber the more couch-lock, the more clear the more "up" the effect will be. You could stagger the harvest and see what you like best for that strain. You could take some now, some when they are just a little amber and some when they're over 50% amber and then test after curing.
YMMV...
