Led Lighting

Postby Johnpaul1 » Tue Aug 09, 2011 5:05 am

i am preparing a report on Led Lighting :

The future of household lighting will soon be the wide spread adoption and use of white energy efficient LED light bulbs. Though the present market for finished white LED products is geared mainly towards enthusiasts and early-adopters, the efficiency and cost effectiveness of systems will drive demand for more affordable LED lights. Opto-electronics is an exciting area and we predict, that in the near future, white LED lighting applications will be powerful and cheap enough to replace incandescent lighting for everyday use in our homes, in street lights, outdoor signs, and offices

Can anyone help me get more on Led lighting advanteges.

With Regards
John Paul

JohnPaul1 -

This site is geared toward LED grow lighting, not residential or commercial style lighting . . . but then again, I guess there is an advantage for you. LED lighting can be used to grow plants indoors all year round :P

Looks like we have another Cidly optoelectronics employee here again...

I've read nothing but bad regarding Apollo lights so far and I've found nothing regarding actual grows using their products.

Nick, you can block IP ranges via Apache, IIS or even the host file in the OS itself. If it's a windows based web server, you can even use an app called peerblock. Let me know if you need help... ;)

EDIT:
I checked and you run Apache on Linux so I'd suggest using a .htaccess file to block China and any other IP ranges that give you problems.

I'm sure you can ban by IP range via phpBB too.

Hope that helps...

Something tells me that we'll be seeing fewer posts spamming Apollo lights in the future...
