No, I'll let it go but I wouldn't expect him to reply unless he's just been lurking for 9 months.

Thank you Scott, I am still here SME, just haven't been online much, I'll check out those pics if you upload them Scott, I'm almost ready to start a grow myself, so any input is greatly appreciated

ok im back on my laptop, now i can explain this a little better,
basically what i was wondering was if you could minimize/get rid of the fluffy 'popcorn' sites near the bottom by growing the plant horizontally in veg. Then, by spreading the branches like one of those chinese hand fans, (like dipicted) and screening the plant horizontal just after topping the four branches you could possibly acheive a 'canopy' that acheives equal light distribution from stem base to tip, possibly making the buds at the stem base as dense as the main colas
This was all just a hypothesis, i was sitting there one day wondering why leds havent made it to the 1g/w mark and thought maybe it wasnt that the lights didnt have the right spectrum, or intensity, but maybe, just like how the nutrient regimens change, what if how to grow had to be changed as well?
Your method still seems like a ScrOG but with the "mainlining" that GR865 played with but the flowers will never be as big at the bottom as a main cola. Give it a shot.
Some LED lights *have* beaten the 1g/w mark (SOG) but they were mostly fluffy popcorn buds. Not really what I would call top-shelf and still less than high powered HID lights can do.
I'm convinced that it's a lack of power and, in some cases, spectral issues that limit LED lights and that's why SOG seems to be the best method for LED grow lights with ScrOG a close second. When we start seeing 7w or 10w diodes, perhaps they'll start doing better but we'll have to wait and see.
