LED saved my plants

Postby Boltman » Wed May 16, 2012 3:34 am

I received my Solar Storm in the middle of my grow while using MH lights. I had a fan go out, The main one cooling fan while I was out of town roommate never checked the plants. When I came home they were badly burned. But since I had just gotten my LED I decided to switch it then. They recovered and although they weren't very tall they still gave me a good harvest considering what they went through. The light was great, considering I'm growing in a small space (dark room II) 4x4 it is perfect for my needs. Noise is an issue and being able to cut out a loud fan has been a great. I have just started a new grow using the LED and so far I am loving it in veg cycle. Check out my grow journal as I will be keeping notes through out. I am growing in Coco a first for me. I have grown for many years, Ive done soil, hydro so I'm excited to switch things up and try something new. The light has really surprised me. I wasn't sure it could stand up, but its exceeded my expectations bringing those plants back. I can't wait to see what happens when this is the only light used.
