The first one is the broken baby. The second is so you can see their real color and the rest I tossed in for good measure. Sticking with the sensi bloom for this batch.
Water PH is right about 6. I borrowed a PPM counter from a friend and it's at 970. Not really sure if that's good or bad.
We're in the 3rd week of bloom. And I think I'm supposed to up it after 6.
Those roots look pretty healthy but I'd suggest using more hydroton (full up to the top) in the pots with plants and plugging the empty pots to keep as much light out of your nutrients as possible to help prevent algae growth. The less light getting to the nutrients the better.

Ok. It doesn't look pretty, but since I don't have any caps I covered the empty spots with foil. I figure it will cover the holes and give me a little reflection for the under sides. I'm hoping flower stage takes me to the end of January. So I can take 2-3 weeks for drying/curing. At that point we should have money for the second light and we can have a little time to get the clones rooted. Not sure yet if the ones we're getting will already be in rock wool and started. Or if we're getting just cuttings. I've seen pics of clone boxes. But have no clue how to build one.
Foil isn't a very good reflective material due to hot spots but with LED it may not be as critical. Bought clones should be well rooted but you'll still want to let them get longer for your NFT. If you want to build your own cheap-o cloner; here are some instructions. Search for "home made cloner" for other designs and improvements on that basic one.

I wasn't too worried about longer roots. The way I build the nft I can put a standoff on the drains to raise the water level in the tubes. I actually had the water levvel high enough that it just touched the bottoms of the net pots until the roots grew out on this set.
