my lights

i have a 130 watt stealth led, w 3 watt emitters. This is my main light in the flower tent. To supplament this light i have 2 of those 12" square lights, each has all red emitters. Also have 2, 2ft t-5's w/bloom tubes in each corner of the tent. In the veg tent i have 3 12" sq led lights. 2 have red & blue emitters, 1 has red, blue, and white emitters. Have used this setup for over 2 years now. Blue dream, strawberry diesel, east coast sour diesel, have produced nice, tight med sized nugs. 11/2 oz per plant using 5 gal smart pots w/ocean forest, roots organic soil, w/ earth juice organic nutes. Have recently started using 3 gal smart pots as an experiment using a few more plants in the tent to compare yields. I had been using 400 watt dig ballast and bulbs for both veg and flowering. Then i made the switch,{at the end of the billing cycle} the next bill was $120.00 less ! Now i can never go back ! For the closet grower led's are so much better than MH, or HID. In all fairness, the nugs were a bit bigger w/ the HID's. But not that much bigger ! And yes the HID yields were somewhat larger. But in over 2 years all i've replaced are the t-5 tubes only once ! And there is NO thermal imprint !

Update ! Added a blackstorm 240 watt flowering light to the flower tent. Instantly noticed the color diff from the stealth, more reddish. Also footprint is larger. 5 days now, and starting to notice all the plants leaves turning to the light ! The plants in the veg tent are responding to the stealth as i knew they would. Too soon to recommend the blackstar, we'll see in a few months. So far, so good !......sofa
