Was very pleased when I checked on my girls today!!

First thing I checked was the GroChek....ph still holding at 5.8, PPM dropped from 1220 to 1210 in about 14 hours, so I think I am getting close to giving my girls what they want to be satisfied...(talk about a first!! LOL). Res temp is still holding at 66-67. Ambient is almost 82, RH is low 40s.

AND THE PLANTS LOOK GREAT!!! Found only ONE leaf with reason for concern....not any more nute burn on few tips than there was yesterday. I did notice a tiny bit of bleaching on one leaf under one of the SS400s, so I raised it a couple of clicks.

ONE leaf with a lil funk on it??

But overall, I think the plants are beautiful, doing great, and I am starting to see small flowers on several of them!!! Very pleased with results so far....

Dunno if you can see the tiny flower starting...

As usual, I welcome your comments, suggestions, advice and general BS.....

very Happy! :)

BTW, I did manage to strike a deal with a friend on two additional lights. SolarFlare 200s...

He assured me that they would be in the mail this morning....so by the end of this week my girls should be seeing nothing but 5W CLW diodes when they look up!!!

Hey Happy,

Good work. I told ya it was pretty easy to figure out. I once had a nute addback calculator but you really don't even need that when you get used to LF. With all the high tech stuff you got, not using addback would be like having a Ferrari and never getting out of second gear. lol.

But it should save you a bunch of work having to change the rez less. or even never changed for the whole grow.

The 2 extra LEDs will help your yield for sure!

Rkymtnman,

Thanx Man!!

A Ferrari & stuck in 2nd gear would drive me nuts!

I would be reaching for the point the car couldn"t go faster or I'd wet myself if it did....lol

I don't like doing anything just part way...in anything...& not starting now..
Lol......Gray haired old fart here, with grown kids, who still rides a beast of a sport bike & tops triple digit speeds on a regular basis....not cuz I want to crash, but just for the rush!! And I am confident enough with my abilities that I dont even pucker doing it...lol

Do you think I could hang & be happy with slow and easy?? Lol

I hear ya Happy. I'm the same way. Go big or go home. You sound like someone who would be fun to have a cold one with.

Remember, you have to grow old but you don't have to grow up!

How many days into 12/12 are you? Wednesday will be the end of my 5 th week. I can just barely see the light at the end of the tunnel. I'll be starting a few clones in a couple of weeks and try to do a perpetual grow. Keep me outta trouble for the whole summer!

Happy,

Check out some of Ghostrider's videos on youtube. This dude can ride! Regularly hits 300kmh on European highways.

Hey rkymtnman, if paths ever cross I'll buy the first round!!!Haha

I just finished 2nd week of 12/12 yesterday. My eventual aim is the same...have something going all the time...already thinking about my next & planning for it...

Same here...keeps me outta trouble!! Keeps me busy between learning & practicing the things I learn....

I'm sure this effort will bring more happiness down the road vs chasing women in bars!!! Lolol

Rkymtnman, next you are on YouTube find a vid called Stump puller by CycleWorld....

That's my ride & it still thrills me every time I climb on!

Plenty of vids on that bike ....high speed European roads at un-Godly speeds...

Does 150+ out of the crate....not that I have proven that to myself!! Lol

OK Rkymtnman....Or anyone else.. Got a question.

When I changed over to LF my PPM settled at 1200 even. The next day (yesterday), my water level dropped some and PPM dropped to 1190. When I added back to top off I raised my PPM to 1220, which is where is was still holding at lunch today. When I get home this evening and PPM has risen to 1230. Ph is still steady at 5.8 and the water level doesn't seem to have dropped as much as yesterday.

Question is.....To have the PPM rise slightly, tells me that at 1220 they were being a tiny bit over-fed....correct? Next time I add back to top off, I am thinking I should mix my nutes a little weaker and maybe shoot for a PPM of about 1210...if 1220 was too much and 1200 wasn't enough.... Is this correct?

Thanx!

Happy

Give it a few days...or a week...or two. You don't have to adjust daily unless you see signs of problems like burn or discoloration. :D

I still use HID and I'm NOT an LED expert. All of my LED knowledge is from other parties or research so I can't say from first hand experience one way or another. I also run a medical grow consulting business in SoCal.
