Can we get some pictures without the LED purple glow so we can help diagnose the problem easier?

Hahahaha, sorry SME... I guess from spending so much time in LED, it's life outside that room that looks funny to me...lolol
Here are some new pics taken with CFL....plus I took some more time than I had first go round to more closely inspect the situation.....and I have to say I am puzzled as to what you can tell me.....
The blemished leaves are limited to TWO of my largest girls(that sprawl all over...why I thought the prob was more than 2 plants), Both in the same grow chamber, in adjacent sites(with one blank in between), at the end opposite the reservoir.... I pulled the net pots up just enough to see that they have a bunch of root, white with slight nute discoloration, firm, and not slimey......
Everything else in the Aeroflo looks great and more pretty little buds forming every time I go in there!! Even the other plants in the same grow chamber.....
Just hoping to help matters I have dropped the adj tube to drain each chamber, raised it to the max allowing the chamber to fill up and then resetting the adj tube just a little lower than it was. I read that as the roots develop more and more, the lower the level in the chamber needs to be....correct? Either way, I figured flushing the chambers wouldn't hurt anything and the lower water level might provide them a little more air in the root zone??
Check out the pics and offer your opinion....please?? BTW, I left these pics on the large size hoping to help with your diagnosis....
Kind of looks like potassium or magnesium but you forgot to turn off the LED so the purple is still there, just less of it. The fact that it's the older leaves tells us that the problem is a mobile element. You could try adding 1 gram of Epsom Salt per gallon to see of that works. Keep an eye out to see if other plants get it too...

From what I was able to find online I was sorta leaning toward Potassium, but wouldn't that affect every plant??
What do you mean by a "mobile element"? You mean something traveling around in my water, but not through-out my water?? Huh?
Why would only two plants be affected when they are all tied to the same reservoir and exist under the same conditions?
I don't understand, but will follow your guidance...cuz on my own I wouldn't know what to do other than chop the affected leaves and if it kept happening kill the plant...
And you mean just regular Epsom Salt?? From the drug or grocery store?
Mobile elements are the chemical elements that travel within the plants themselves. They can move from older, established leaves to the newer, younger leaves that need those nutrients in order to grow. Immobile elements can't move around as needed so those problem usually show up in newer leaves first. It could be that those two older plants are just first to show the problem. You could try a additive that has more K but you could just wait and see if it spreads or gets better too. How long has it been going on?

SME, I just had a brain-fart or something that felt good!!!
This past Saturday was the day I first started LF, when I did a water change. PRIOR to going to LF, I was using a couple of additives....FloraNectar and Liquid KoolBloom, both GH products, BOTH contain a good amount of Potash!!! When I switched to LF I didn't put any additives....I wanted to get LF up and balanced and understood first.....
Could it be the sudden drop in Potash, from those two additives, that my two big girls are reacting to????
Might be grasping for straws or it might be something that I figured out....but either case I figured it was worth a shot before I changed anything.....
The nectar doesn't have a lot of K but the kbloom does. It could just be that the beginning production of flowers has caused a spike in K demand too. Keep an eye on it to see if it gets worse, spreads to other plants or gets better and we'll see how it goes. You could also spike your LF with partial/full dose of the KB and see if that helps; if it doesn't get better on it's own (or if it gets worse) in the next few days...

OK, I opted to go with 1/2 strength KB and just watch it closely to see how they react...It did jack up my PPM slightly....lights are out for the night, so I will see tomorrow when they come back on what, if any change has taken place......
OK, I really meant to watch it for a day or so first because it could be caused by other things too but done is done. Too much N can lock out K, for example. Let's see what happens...

Well....I hope I didn't jump the gun.... I guess the chemistry part I need to get to know a lot better!! Sorry, I never considered that...(Why isn't there a "Smiley" of a guy shooting himself in the foot?)
Newbie me was thinking if they need something, give em a small dose and see if it helps....if it doesn't, drain, flush, refill...in a panic.....SUX! But isn't that how everyone does it??
Is there any doubt I need a guide on this journey??
