7 of my 11 seeds have sprouted through the dirt! The odd thing is that the 4 that didn't are the auto flowers I was hoping to be going fast with. I'll give them another week before I worry, but I'm sad about this. So, 11 regular feminized ladies are ready to go. They will remain under CLFs until my soil is done cooking in 3-4 weeks. Then they'll be under the solar storm. can't wait to get that thing cranking for more than a heat test!

Not trying to discourage you, but every time I have a problem with seeds, they're autos, so its not you. My last batch, 3 of them liquified. h

I'm glad you said that. I'll swear that's what's happening with the one AK seed I have left. It's in a paper towel that is moist and it seems to be shrinking. The nice hard outside is now very odd from how it started.

Oh well, I'm happy with one and a bunch of regulars. I can deal with that.

So update, 1 of 4 autos has popped. Hoping at least one of the White Dwarf's pops for me.

Here's what I have rockin right now.
2 x Blue Cheese fem
2 x THC Bomb fem
1 x White Widow fem
1 x Blue Widow fem
1 x Purple Haze
1 x AK 47 #2 auto flower fem

waiting on my white dwarfs, might try to pop another AK, not sure I need it right now anyway. 8's more than I have room to flower. Probably have to veg a couple of these a while :) great problem to have!!!!

Those are great strains! Be happy they are healthy. Seedling stage in my opinion, is the hardest. Once you get past it, you're home free.

Mine sprouted tap roots, and never shed there pods. When I tried to help, the inside looked like puss. I've been doing this for years, and have never seen anything like it. h

I went and checked my AK in the paper town, I gave it a light squeeze and it crumbled into a muddy dust. Ack. Oh well, I"ve got one of them going. Wish my other autos would wake up and get with the program. Those are the ones I wanted to get going first. Looks like I've got to get going on the real growers first this time. I only got the autos as I figured it would be easier and more forgiving as far as light goes. Eh, no biggie. I'll just get some clones and then get my ladies flowering so I have something to try out sooner than later.

I'm still most worried about my soil. :(

Well the seedlings are in organic jiffy seedling soil, nothing special.

The soil they need to go into is an organic concoction that is currently cooking. It's my first attempt and right now it would kill these poor ladies.

Mix of Compost, Worm castings and a bunch of other goodies. I still need to make another tea for it before it'll be ready. I'm mostly worried that it won't be ready and my girls will outgrow their current homes before it's ready :(

If your dead set on using your brew, then I would just pot them up into a small pot, with some good quality soil. By the time they grow into the new pots your other soil should be done, and the girls should be big enough to handle a hot dose, should they get it.

You have to be careful mixing your own soil, its very complex, and can take years to master. I know guys who have mixed there own for years, and have now switched to a high grade commercial like "Happy Frog". It has everything you mentioned, and is sterile too, so you have less chance of bugs, or other unwanted pests. Happy growing! h

I think they'll be alright until the soil is ready. I'm following a lot of advice from a few trusted growers. I'm not too worried about what is put into it. I'm dead set on it and will continue to perfect it :) Starting a compost setup sometime soon, working on the parts for my tea brewer. For now it's a mix of organic soil, worm casting and a few other simple bits. Nothing crazy.
