Here's my new veg box. I had been using our upstairs 1/2 "guest" bathroom, but we do have guests stay once in a while, and it was kinda like pooping in the bushes. Besides, I will be installing retractable clotheslines in the bathroom to use it as a drying room.
So anyway, I built a 2Wx8Lx4H veg box from 2x4s and plywood. Twin double swinging doors allow the whole front to open up for working with the plants. I wired in a dedicated 20 amp circuit. Still need to work out heat and ventilation, but that is more a matter of money than time. I'll be mounting a small 150w flat panel wall heater($60 on eBay) to a line voltage thermostat. I considered running the tent exhaust into the box, but think it will be better to keep them independent.
Managed to get 8 clones out of the dome and into some dirt today, as well as started a pot of bib lettuce, just because I like lettuce, and had some space.
And yes, I know the moms are droopy. I purposefully dried them out to make them lighter for the trip from attic to basement.
I've decided to scale down my grows and use several tents instead of expanding to 3 bedrooms partially because of my back issues. Still not sure exactly when I'll be fit to start back up though, hopefully soon.

Sorry to hear about your back. I annuerated my L4/L5 when I was 17, and have had back problems on and off for the past 25 years because of it. The older I get, the more "on" and the less "off". That's why I put the veg box on legs, much easier for me to work with the plants while standing. I'll be adding a second ss400 to the tent for the next round. If I ever decide to go bigger than the 4x4 I'll just bite the bullet and build a flower room. Sadly, their are height constraints in the basement, so don't think there is enough height to grow on tables unless i go SOG, which would be a disadvantage for me, as i am growing within the Massachusetts medical law. Between my wife and I, we are allowed 24 plants. Already, I have 12 in veg. 2 moms, 2 potential moms(if this first grow turns out to be a quality product, and 8 clones for the next run(I expect to only place six in the tent, the weakest two will be removed). It will be tight in the tent with 6, and I'll have to switch to a flat panel heater to make them all fit.
Yeah, I had a L5-S1 fusion a while back, starting rehab today, hopefully I can get back to normal...relatively speaking.

I'm very happy with the result. This was my first grow, ever. Even after the lockout problems and mite infestation, which I never totally got a handle on, I feel like I've got a good haul. Hopefully, I'll only get better at it, now that I know what to look for. As for my harvest, I think my 19 year old kid said it best, "I've seen a lot of homegrown weed, but nobody is growing buds like that!"
The tops are plump, dense, and frosty, although I will admit that they get quite puffy as they go down the stem. Aside from the initial LST, I didn't do a thing to the plants. I will definitely be properly topping the plants and trimming the bottoms on future grows, including any bud sites lower than 1 foot down the stems. I'm very happy with the light, and plan on getting another before my next round goes into flower. I'm a little disappointed with the current pricing. When I got my light through the grower's feedback program, the ss400 was priced at $799 on the website. Now they are back up to $999. I feel that price is a little steep for the ss400, although I would pay $800 for this light all day long.
Shop around, there are also new models coming so the older ones will go on sale, I'd imagine.
The SS800w is now the SS880w. The SS400w is now the SS440w. The SF200w is now the SF220w. The SF100w is now the SF110w.
Plus new diodes, drivers and power supplies. Still 5w though...
