Hey GR!

Man, Q2 is indeed an impressive specimen! I'm not sure which angle I like more, the close-up of the bud, or the whole plant shot... That girl is a thing of beauty.

It's really great to go back and watch her develop from the first cut on your mainline adventure! Looks like a great payoff for the extra time and effort it took for vegging !!

Look forward to the final push!

Be well man!

Day 37 of 12/12

I have started watering/feeding daily. My last two w/f's have been with pH'ed water only. Will feed with tomorrows w/f and will be using 6 to 700 ppm of GH Bio series and KoolBloom.
Should I be using something like BudCandy or one of the other additives in my program, not sure of application timing?

Just a couple of pics from today's cabinet opening.

I am passing out cigars!

Here is the newest member of my clan, I would like to introduce Sherri, Ice strain from Nirvana seeds. Her siblings have not popped yet. She will make a nice Mainline plant.
Her tap root had already reached the bottom of the Root Riot cube.

Peace out,

GR

Nice Pics GR!

So sweet looking..just glistening. Fun times ahead for sure.

Can't wait to see what Q2 yields in size and dried weight.

can of worms opening in background.....................

think it depends on what style of growing you use. here's 2 examples
scrog- everything below screen is defol
sog-nothing to defol. plants are generally just one main cola

i personally don't for 3 reasons:
stress could lead to bigger problems i.e. hermie
i use everything but the stems and root ball from my harvest either to smoke or to make ice hash
more leaves=more photosynthesis

probably no right or wrong answer

Hey Guys,

RKY, so true about the can of worms...kind of like hydro vs. soil!

This grow I did zero cutting, trimming, tying or anything at all...totally au naturale...and I can say that I wish I had trimmed a little bit of the lower growth out for better air movement. I found myself really wanting to trim sick or dried up leaves, but didn't...I know SME recommends little to no trimming.

Everything I've read says that if you are going to trim, don't do it too close to transplanting, and don't do it while flowering. Some articles recommend topping and/or heavy defoliation, while others recommend leaving things alone as the plant will use the nutrients stored in even the nastiest leaves.

Waiting for the next pics of Q2 !!

Day 42 of 12/12

Had a good week back in my shop and about 75% as far as work goes.

Had a good week with the ladies also, until yesterday, my pH/temp meter died. Not sure whats up with that going to call them today to try and figure it out. Anyway I went to Wally World and got some pH strips for a fish tank, only problem is it only measures to a low of 6.2 so when I start my Hempy buckets I will definitely need a new or repaired meter. After 6.2 the next measure is 6.8 so I will have to find a happy medium today.

They are not growing a lot now but putting on weight, drinking about a gallon of h2o and/or nutes a day, stinking up the box, almost a too sweet smell. After I close the box during inspection or feeding it takes about 30 minutes for the smell to leave the garage, LOL, love it!

As an experiment I trimmed off some leaves from Q2's daughter mainly to open up the lower buds and have seen no negitive results. The lower buds have taken off and beginning to bulk up. Will show a pic of before and after. Q2 is doing just fine, looking like a lovely lady and bulking up also.

The new additions to my clan are doing fine, out of six pills, 3 WW and 3 Ace only one WW popped and is looking good, but all three Ace popped, two are fine and the third started unrolling and the tap root was out the bottom of the Root Riot. I transplanted into the 18 oz. Hempy cup but it is just sitting there doing nothing. Keeping an eye on her.

Ok, some pictures.
