should I top dress the soil with the amendment or wait until I transplant and add it to the new soil?
I will start by increasing the pH of the H2O and the nutes additive.

You can top dress until you transplant again and adjust pH in the water/nutes as needed. Shoot for the 6.7-6.8 range since you know the soil is acidic...

Trees, I believe you are right on the misting, I was watering using a solo cup, and I bet I disturbed the soil around the tap roots causing them to not sprout. Damn it, hate it when that happens. Oh well lesson learned.

I am using the Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil, it is very light.

Thanks for the input, what ever else you see please let me know.

Well when it happens it comes in buckets, today my chain broke on my CLF fixture and it swung down and hit one of the plants taking out one entire side. Not sure what to do with the main line grow on this plant. Need to do some research. They were both looking great under this grow method, the second plant looks super.

Will update when I come up with an answer.

Is the light OK? You can always start over on the plants. It's not like it was 7 weeks into flowering. You can take clones from the surviving plant and then kill it off or flower it outside by itself, depending on the neighbors, etc...

Thanks SME,
It was my homemade CFL fixture and it hit the wall and broke one bulb, but other than that it is ok.
It did make me work on the cabinet tonight, need to get the SS400 up and running in the cabinet.
Thinking of doing a one sided main line, lol, not sure how that will work.
I did take the busted off shoot and am trying to clone it as we speak.

Will update. Hate being down to one unknown (male or female) plant.

Well this afternoon check the two ladies, (?), Q1 had dropped off the other side of the two shoots, not sure why. It was off colored and when I touched it the shoot fell off.
I still have the Q2 and she(?) is looking good. have split her now to the 4 node point. Hope it works, if not, I will not give up. I have some White Widow ordered.
I know this is a learning curve, but damn hate seeing them not achieve!
