Just got this light today. Replacing a 1k for the summer months. It has a lot to live up to as the 1k is pretty dialed in. The area is a 4x4 tent and the led is going in 1 week after flowering began under the 1k. First impressions are good. The light is very sturdy and built very well. It says it only weighs around 30 lbs but seems heavier. The red powder coat finish is a nice touch.
Were about 8 days into flowering and only 1 day under the solar storm. the plants are sour kush, kandy kush, la blanca, and white widow. these plants were my first plants vegged with led's under the advanced diamond series. the plants definitely are a little different than the past under the MH. they're a little shorter and definitely bushier with possibly closer internodes. hope this translates into some positives...

How long did you veg those for? From seed or clone? Soil - hydro?

thanks!
the plants are vegged anywhere from 3-5 weeks. the clones go from rapid rooters to 6 inch to 3 gallon pots all filled with pro mix bx. plants that prefer to be untopped or plants that are generally tall and skinny will get 2 - 3 cuts per 3 gallon pot spread out evenly.

today is day 41 of flower. honestly, at this point i'm having a hard time believing that this light will live up to my normal 1k harvest. the buds just seem smaller and possibly a little more leafy. the weight may be there but if it is it'll be in quantity of nugs and not the size of the nugs. only time will tell and i'm hoping for the best because the energy and heat savings are a real plus. anyway, here are some pics....
