Couple pics I just took. One of one of my OG's, other Perilla leaves, and of my 2 little rat chasers! Best girls ever. Perilla smells really nice....basil and mint smell. Tastes like that as well.
A couple pics of my OGers. There all very healthy and vibrant. The last pic in the row had a couple spots but that was from way back...shes nute sensitive. Ive had to make her nutes in a separate batch.
I continue to be impressed with airpots. The 1st one is in a .8 gallon one and just as tall as the 2 gallon ones its just not as wide.
Also today is the first day I could see some white hairs like just a couple on each plant. Only been flowering a week now.

Got my beans today. 5 Paradise Seeds Auto Wappa, 1 Dutch Passion Think Different, and some freebies. Germinating them now soon they will experience the Solarflare! I will start another grow journal for that.
Daily update! Plants looking good. White hairs slowly poping out. Pretty sweet took about 9 days to start to pop. Perilla leaves looking good! There a vibrant purple underneath. They have about 30 days before I harvest them.
Girls grew like a inch and a half since last night! The tall one is actually the one in the 1 gallon airpot its about 16 inches. The others are about 1 inch shorter. Out of the other two OG's in the larger airpots you can see a nice crown forming around the center. Should be a good yielder. I added another nute to my brew..Silica. Bought a liter of Dutch Master Gold Silica...they seem to take to it well. Those little yellow things are little stakes that have a fly strip folded in half. I had some fungus gnats flying around. No biggie.
I harvested my first batch of Perilla Leaves. To harvest them you simply pull off the leaf which comes off easy. Harvest the majority of them but not all and they will all grow back.
Been reading up on Water Curing I will be using one of these girls for it..who ever is the smallest.
Water curing is something I've used for years. I first learned about it about 12 or so years ago. The "bag appeal" suffers but quality and taste improves...for me anyway. Not everyone likes the result of water curing but I'm glad you're willing to try it. Let me know if you need any help...
