Is DYI/LED an option?

I will take a crack at this,having had a good look at available led brands and their specs.Looking at just the LEDS,it looks feasible to do this.Where you end up getting screwed is when you add in the constant current drivers.ATM I am considering a Solarstorm as a decent value for the money.Stealth Grow got a decent review in HT,but it is a fair bit pricier.If you were to price out LEDS and drivers on a per plant scheme,and be honest about how many watts you need,and add drivers,you will see what I mean.Right now manufacturers appear to underdrive the leds to keep cooling issues at bay.Crank up the current and the measures that need to be taken to cool things add a fair bit to the cost.Heat sinks,special boards etc.
