I agree; they are looking real good.
You should care about yield, at least to an extent. Even if you're only growing for yourself, if you maximize yield you may need fewer grows per year or be able to meet your needs with fewer plants. Ask yourself, would you rather have .5g/w, with the same light or 1g/w? Either way, the light is on for the same number of days, either way the fans and cooling have to be on and, either way, they still have to be fed and watered. Personally, I'd prefer to push the plants to their limits since I'm paying the same either way. Many people claim they don't care about yield but most really do.

So, once you get into something you want to learn all about it but you don't want to maximize your yield? Isn't that part of learning? Isn't learning how to get maximum results part of it? It sounds like you're trying to reduce expectations.
Sorry, I just ain't buying that but you can stick to that story of you want. You may not be "obsessed" with yield but EVERYBODY would take more over less given the option.
