I have to harvest the basil and mint almost every week, by the way. They taste incredible!

The chilis grew a lot since repotting. In fact, one month from seed, they are already budding (see photos). Unfortunately, there hasn't been enough air circulation, so several of them have developed a nasty edema. I need better exhaust immediately and hope this won't kill them.

The new inline exhaust fan I got seems to be helping the edema quite a bit. Only one plant was significantly affected and you can see the sugary bumps and yellow leaf here and there from the 6 or so days after repotting when it was having transpiration problems.

Overall they're doing very well. I switched the solarstorm to the bloom spectrum and also switched to 12/12. All plants are flowering. Next week's update should feature a pod or two.

Again, they don't look their best below because I was just about to water them. I let them droop before watering, especially since the edema.

Interestingly, I notice no real difference between the plants in the air pots and those in the regular buckets so far. If anything, the ones in the buckets are larger.

That reminds me, I need to make more salsa verde... ;)

I'm not growing any tomatillos right now, but my one marzano tomato plant in my grow tent is doing very well too. It seems to be putting on an inch every day since I repotted in the air pot, and flowering quite a lot. Meanwhile, the chilis don't seem to care that they're in air pots for some reason.

Everything is going very well. The plants are growing taller. However, I think it will actually be some time before the flowers turn to pods -- hopefully before my trial period runs out.

Things are getting crowded... I hope they stop getting bigger and stop putting all their energy into fruiting.

Hello dcl,

Your plants look great! I think I see some white flowers in your pics so you should have peppers soon!

Indeed - I was one day off on my original prediction. I've caught the very first pods forming! Though this is the plant that is furthest along, there are signs of fertilization on three of the five plants.
