I recently got total wood over some low cost UFO leds. In total I bought 3 which ranged in color variations and price.
After my exciting Amazon spending spree I read that the leds I had purchased were of the 120 degree variety. They are all 3w chipsets and basically I assume to move them closer to the plants to make up for the wide spread pattern as I only have a 4×2
space to work with and from all accounts I've read the 120 degree angle lacks penetration. So I was wondering if anyone has advice
for this lowly newbie as to work around the wide beam angle.

Welcome to the forums!
Not much you can do, you can lower the lights and use reflective film but that won't do a lot. You'll certainly want to keep the plants shorter to deal with the lack of penetration...

Thanks sir. I'm planning on augmenting with cfl side lighting just in case. I'd love to use hps but that options out for me plus I like the challenge of this new tech without starting my house on fire
