Im on my second set of plants flowering using the Solarstorm 400. Plants have been in 12/12 for 15 days and are looking good (photos included). They where in the veg. stage under a MH bulb then switched to the Solarstorm room to flower. Quick recap on my setup: I have Two Solarstorm 400w in a 5x7 room using organic soil in 3 gallon pots. Being my second set of plants going thru a flowering cycle under the Solarstorms, the only difference this time around would be the the plants where not under the Solarstorm during the vegetative stage like my first time around.

The plants have been doing their thing and looking good. I do wish I had an additional LED to veg with because it appears the plants veg better in my opinion under the LED opposed to the MH bulb. By better I mean less strecthing and more branching for a shorter more "bushy" plants coming out of veg going into flower.

Check your PM's and please resize pictures to about 800x600 in the future.

Thanks...

My plants are in there 3rd week of flowering and looking good. The Solarstorm just does its thing. Love it.

I have found that I need to be careful not to over water the plants under the Solarstorm because it takes longer than the HID lighting to dry out the plants. Found myself having to skip a feeding of nutrients because they where still not in need of water. Easy issue to fix and a good reminder to not go crazy with water for any of my plants. Photos taken today of my flower room (week three of 12/12 light cycle).

Plants are finishing up 5th week of 12/12 period. It appears that im getting the desired results. Plants are moving along nicely. After using the Solarstorm to flower my plants for 1 and a half harvest, I have grown to be able to depend on the job it will do. And have grown an appreciation for it as well. Looks to be my yields will be about the same as last harvest. Successful experiment for sure. I am ready to move at least one Solarstorm 400 back to my Veg room as soon as the are finished flowering.

Thank you for the update!

You say that you expect the same yield as last time...how many grams did you get? I saw that you grow wappa, that's a strain that I'm interested in, how do you like it?
