SisterMaryE: A good idea but I don't really have room in my small basement for a tent.

Progress report: The herbs are really coming to life and ready for transplanting into larger pots. The orchid still not showing a bloom shoot. Th annual grasses are making a comeback, also (not in these photos). You can also see a Martha Washington geranium bloom peeking up from a nerby shelf with fluro lighting ... it apparently likes the LED lights better!

I also included a photo of an second orchid that is about to bloom .. the bloom shoot is what I am hoping for from the dormant orchid now under the SS400. I got this orchid to produce the bloom shoot under my t5 4x4 panel. Once the bloom shoot appears, you can put the orchid in a window and watch it bloom.

They make some pretty small tents...if that kind of environmental control would help. *shrug*

Disclaimer:
I still use HID and I'm NOT an LED expert. All of my LED knowledge is from other parties or research so I can't say from first hand experience one way or another. I also run a medical grow consulting business in SoCal.
