I wouldn't really call it drain to waste but everyone is different...

Yeah, it's not really drain to waste in the dtw vs recirculating sense. I just use the phrase to describe the practice of using nutrient solution until it's depleted before flushing and refilling. It makes sense to me.
Perhaps "flush & fill" would be a more appropriate description.
Yeah when I think of DTW I think of soil/coco or rockwool based plants in a tray and whatever drains from top-feeding the plants goes down the drain...
Flush and Fill or Feed and Fill maybe...it's all good.

I hate to be picky but...Mandelas CONTAINS landrace genetics but neither hashberry nor krystalica are 100% landrace genetics.
Just to be clear for those that may not know: "Landrace seeds are seeds that have been grown locally in an area for…well…a long time. They are seeds that have been grown in a isolated area for several hundred generations. The longer the plant spends in that area the more acclimated it becomes to that environment. As plants breed they evolve to grow better in their environment, gaining and losing attributes giving it its own uniqueness."
Nothing in their catalog has been isolated in one region for hundreds of generations although they may use genetics that have to create new ones.

I knew what he meant. I probably wouldn't be looking at them if they were pure landrace seeds.
As soon as my lights turn on I get to mount my new environment controller. Then I'm starting CO2 on the 25th after I harvest the first SCROG run in 5g buckets. I should wait to see the results of SCROG + 7.8g buckets without CO2, but I'm just not that dedicated to good science.
I wouldn't grow many landraces either but people that don't know might think it's a good idea...
Use it if you got it!
