Okay I up potted these about 5 days ago. When I did, I addes a pinch of Root Rally(mychorrozal) and mexican bat guano in the potting soil, I didn't tier them it would have been too bulky, but I intend to on the up pot, and watch out, these babies are gonna get plump. I was gonna wait two weeks to up pot into the final pots, butttt......
Look at these roots

What do you think. Oh,l I got a small high velocity fan that is working for now to circulate. The little humidifier is working too, seems to be enough on the low setting. (it is a cool mist humidifier)
I have the lights at about 24 inches, I thought for one day I would keep it there, I thought the reccommendation for veg was like 22 or so, I will recheck my spec sheet, asap.

bye for now

UV Problem?

Yes, Sorry Forum,

I guess when you post to more than one forum, you forget some of the things mentioned. At least i did.

When the light was sent, I set it up in the tent, turned it on and checked all the features/settings. One of the UV Bulbs they sent me was burned out. It has that darkened ends like you see on a T-12 as it is going or has gone out. Not a problem I am worrying about right now, as I am optimistic about the customer service. With that being said, they still have not gotten back to me as of yet, and it has been three days.

I think I am fullfilling MY obligation with above average dilligence, if you compare to other GFP peeps.

Just sayin'

I assume that you sent them an email: support@californialightworks.com already? They are known for their excellent support...

Hey Eek--those girls are looking beautiful!

If you were to ask my opinion about the roots, I'd say yes you should wait a week or more to pot up, I've gotten good results by letting the small plant develop more of a root mass before moving up in pot size. Looking forward to following along 8-)

Yes I think you are right, definitely needs more build up, until it looks like they got nowhere to go.

Thanks for the peek

Hear Ye, Hear Ye,

Customer service as California Lightworks is excellent.

George responded to my email, yesterday, in about 20 minutes. He asked me to confirm my address, but before I could do that, I got an email with the tracking number of my TWO NEW UV BULBS!!!

Awesome folks down there at the CLW shop

So far excellent stuff. thanks SME

That's good news; I've never heard *anything* bad about their support. George obviously cares about his customers and stands behind his products which has certainly earned my respect and I'm still a HID guy, so far, so that should tell people something about CLW. ;)

Hello everyone and the LED forum.

Well, I have been stalking my UV light bulbs on the UPS tracking deal. I also just received my Extraction Fan that moves 250 sfm, plenty for the 3x3x7=63 cf tent. I will definitely need either a two speed or variable speed switch, I can probably find one out of an old ceiling fan or something. Or hey, I hear you can buy one these days. If any of you have known me on my other Forums, I have a veg light I built myself that is 352 watts. It is a monster. So I have a new found hobby in tinkering. I know a bit about a lot of stuff, what is the term, Breadth, not depth.

I still haven't up potted, I would like opinions if you have one, Would you up pot if it were your kids?

I got some new beans today, got some top 44, purple afggan, fruity purple, amnesia haze, and Love Child (friend's)
So my soil is ready when the bbk's are ready. and when they are ready, I have to make choices. Because among the beans I just got. I have more on the way, and have my own. Now My own have to cure anyways, and they are auto's so they can wait. Actually I mean they will have to wait. I need to replenish the jars, so a few heavy yeilding gals like the bbk is right what I need for now. Then I have a secret project to work on, and much more. I have no idea where to start, but I figure, I can to this X project, and then after they are in flower I can start something else, so I have a few feet of space I can throw in with the remainin kush's if I get two or three, maybe, if not, I have a few feet under my HPS after I harvest these auto's I have going right now. I am also getting two more t-8 32x2 watt four feet units with two bulb cost about 22 us dollars apiece. These things kick ass for vegging, and we are getting our ourdoor garden ready, I started some herbs and some tomatoes, chives, and lavender. I have the last three under the t-8's. and the herbs in a warm dark place, domed. We also have some Romaine, Simpson Lettuce, and Spinach we just put outside today, which we started from seed.

So I have just started a single Dinafem Cheese Auto, the only one I had. I had an idea I have one of those Topsy Turvy Strawberry grower, and a Tomato grower. I was thinking if I had some low profile auto's, I could pop these little pockes full of auto's and put outside? It would be quite a sight I am sure. I am seriously thinking on that.

Sorry about the one big picture,

In case all you thought we did was grow things, well we raise things too, kids, dogs, cats, and we found THIS in our front yard the other day (musta heard about the free food), We are making every effort possible to find the owners, and are in touch with a rescue. IT is called a cinnamon green cheek conure. It has a band with a gap.
