I'd repot the plant and feed the bird. ;)

The bird is the word...

Yeah Evol, thanks for the comment, Thanks for everything too SME,

Okay I thought I would give a little update on my grow using the California Lightworks 400w Solar Storm. I have of course up-tiered my kids into the Hercules Root Pots. I didn't pack the soil in tight enough at first, then after a light watering, I put about 6 more cups of soil per plant in the containers, packing them a bit, being carefull not to press too hard. So as gentle as possible I guess is what I mean. I gave a little FIM on top of them. and they are all about 8-9 inches tall. I have my tent inside all set except for the carbo filter. I got my humidity at about 55% give or take. We actually are getting some overcast, and for the first time since early Jan. we have humidity above 40% or so. But I also have a cool mist humidifier (not sure if I mentioned that), a 4 inch fan, and a 12 oscillating fan I jury rigged to the roof of the tent. I also have attached a pully system to my other lights, so All four light systems are now adjustable without hassle. We have also started thousands of sprouts for hour herbs this year( Rosemary, Chives, Oregano, Basil, Sage, Thyme & lavender), and some early tomatoes, lettuce, spinach, brusseld sprouts, pototoes, and Marigolds for pest protection. I have missed a few because I have so many it is hard to remember. So we will also be building a 10x10 foot greenhouse today, we are going to use our frame from our portable gazebo which the top got torn up last year in a windstorm. It has legs that lift only part way, and can have the other legs at 0 inches, so it is like a lean-to, To close it we will just lower the front legs. Also if we need to we can lift all four legs so we can work, or stand inside.

So back to my grow with the California Lightworks 400w Solar Storm

I harvested a couple of auto's, just a note there, so I have a couple more that will be gone in a week. I just cracked 1 Dinafem Cheese Auto, and so far 5 of ten "Karma Dragons" (auto's) have popped. So after moving sprouts around in a few days, the Auto's that are sprouting now will go under the 352 watt CFL panel for vegging, then depending on how many females I get, I will start 3 top 44 skunk beans. then who knows. I got project X I am working on, so I have a little space for that. Anyway the Kush's are staying in the tent, and these babies are just flourishing. take a look...

Good Day Everyone on LED forum

I thought I would update my "California Lightworks Solar Storm 400" Grow.

So the kids are getting bigger. Think I need to flip. But i was gonna hurry a top 44 skunk up to go with the BBK's, but it doesn't look like they want to cooperate. So I will get a new timer and then flip to 12/12,

So far I have done some Super Cropping to keep the canopy even, but that was today, and I only have pics up til yesterday. It wasn't much, about 4 inches. The two plants that were the tallest got bent. So far the other's (that I am deeming female until such time as I see evidence otherwise), that I think are female, are nice and bushy, but a tad bit shorter.

I replaced my UV bulbs, not that I am using them yet, and made the tent more accessible, since of the new addition of a circular fan. I still am looking around for a 6 inch exhaust hose thing for my setup. I guess I am gonna have to pay more than I want. I saw that hydro galaxy has a dual timer and a hose for 32 bucks with free shipping. I put a dinafem cheese auto in with the BBK's, and she really liked the switch from CFL veg light. She is reaching.

One thing I think that is good about the Solar is the temps are easy to maintain, and it is pretty awesome so far in veg stage.

Okay enough jabber.

Postby EEKtheGREY » Tue Mar 19, 2013 7:31 pm

Hello Everyone On the LED forum

I thought I would update my California Lightworks Solar Storm 400w grow. Blackberry Kush

I just cracked some Dynamite beans, and 4/5 have cracked so far. I tried an organic cloning method on two babies off of two bbk's. One is already growing in soil, the other was done today. I have them marked. hopefully, I can use one or both to breed with the Dynamite's. I need a couple of things. I need more bbk beans, and a dyna cross, and more dynamite beans. I will use cloning to acheive this (male and female)

I just flipped to 12/12 with the kids at about 15-18 inches tall. I have done some cropping and such trying to keep the canopy even. But in one day after the flip, the stretch was fast, so I had to crop again this morning, and yes, pics were from yesterday.

I fed them water with molasses yesterday. I have the light at about 15 inches above the canopy. They are 6 weeks and one day old. (43 days)

I have a question, when I flip to 12/12, do I change the light setting to flower, or do I wait till the flowering starts?

Okay here are some pictures...

Hi Everyone,

Thanks SME

I thought I would update my California Lightworkd Solar Storm 400 LED grow. Of course featuring BBK's. This is going really smoothly so far. Which has got me worried. lol. Kidding, but I had every problem in the book last summer. The only thing I keep doing, is getting the plants too close too the lights, or touching the lights, and the occasional drop of water from the cool mist humidifier. Which will bleach under the LED. Also, if you either get it too close, or touch the LED window pane, it will create a burn that will go clear through the leaf sometimes. I don't have a pic, but I am being more careful at that, so if I ever get a chance for a pic, I will post it.

I have one starting to sex already. BBK#4 is showing pistils. I know it is early, and some strains, etc. etc, but I think she will be a girl. My clones aren't doing so great. I need some thing called Auxin (after some research). Auxin can be found in its most concentrated form from Willow tree branch tips, and leaves. So I will go ask someone to clip thier trees when I get a chance. I am gonna go ahead and get some cubes as well. It just seems like it would be easier is all. I will make a decent attempt at more clones at that point. The two I got going are still alive. but taking a long time. I finally took the first one out of the dome. She is either gonna go or die. She had new growth, I ca certain, they can hold up for half a day without a wilt, so she is weepy now, and sorta limping for the last day and a half. but I think she will pull through. The second one is still domed, but somehow got a burn on one leaf. so she has half and a whole one left. still perky though. This was done more methodically, so I think she will be okay as well, but time will tell.

Okay I am doing a molasses once a week for these girls. No need for nutes. Okay here are some pictures.
