Are your customers going to trust results from your own lab or would they want to see independent analysis? You're still on that light mover kick? You don't need a light mover with a 1kw HPS in a 4x4 tent...but try it and see if you have to.

If my customers don't trust my reports, it's unlikely they would trust any results I provide them regardless of whether they were taken in house or by a third party. The only way a suspicious customer could quell his doubts would be to have the product he received tested in a lab of his choosing.
I wouldn't necessarily include an analysis report with each purchase, though. I could however share them if I was asked to (either by customers or Health Canada regulators/inspectors). After a few years if I find I get consistent results, including the analysis report that corresponds to the batch the product is from could be good for business, definitely.
You can have a lab set-up for 100k. Only cost of running it afterwards is the reference material. If you consider what private labs charge here per analysis, it doesn't take long at all to break even.
Besides, how does a grower know whether the product he grows is potent or not? Visual trich inspection only determines maturity, not potency. Are there leglislations in cali that force medical dispensaries to run analysis on their products?

We have no requirements for testing here but I'd be more likely to trust results from an independent lab than one ran by the guy trying to sell me stuff. Of course any lab results could be faked these days...
100k is a pretty big expense but if it makes you feel better about what you're offering then go for it. Remember, it wasn't that long ago that NOBODY tested their product, rating was subjective.

I've never used a SF200w so I can only go by the specs and compare the w/sqft vs HID and LED in other journals. With HID you can get away with 25w/sqft in veg which is about half that of suggested flowering w/sqft so I applied that to the LED side too. We've seen journals that show that the CLW SS series (and other comparable LED lights I assume) worked very well in veg. Since the SF uses the same diodes I'd imagine that it would be fine for vegging a 2x2 space. Since the SF200w is really only using ~165w that's more than 25w/sqft without going over 50w/sqft either so you SHOULD have exceptional vegetative growth. That's about as firm (on that question) as I can be.

No, I said the 250w CMH HID wasn't an option. There are HPS and MH lights in the 125-175w range that would also work. I wouldn't go with a 200w HID either. If you chose MH 175w max. If you chose HPS, 150w max. When HID lights get smaller they don't have the penetration power that larger HID lights have so it may be that the SF200w COULD even be better than a 150w HID, especially for veg. I have no idea what the price on the LED would be but if you got a small HID hood with the built-in ballast and glass + air cooling flanges options it would probably be in the 150-200 dollar range.

I could get the SS200W for about 100$ more. So it may be a good deal.

I wish that I could say, for sure, one way or another but I do believe that would be a very good veg light in a 2x2. It's really only an educated guess at this point. There may be other small 5w LED lights that would work too but I know more about CLW lights because of all of the journals here. I'm actually going to try LED for vegging myself but I don't have any yet and my back is still too bad for growing. I did like the vegging results from other journals here so I'm willing to try it.
