Yeah I'm going to go with a SS200W since I got a good price on it.

Now I just need to find a strain with similar properties as KM but that flower in 55 days instead of 90 :D

So, I had a little debate with some growers yesterday about light movers. As you know, I'm of the opinion that they don't help if you have a lot of light but they're convinced that a mover will help keep an even canopy and increase yield. So I propose that you go ahead and use it but try to only use it on 1/2 of your flower lights (if you plant to use it in flower) so we can see the difference in with and without. If you were going to use it in veg with a single light, then we'd have nothing to compare it too but there is still hope... ;)

Disclaimer:
I still use HID and I'm NOT an LED expert. All of my LED knowledge is from other parties or research so I can't say from first hand experience one way or another. I also run a medical grow consulting business in SoCal.

It'd be though to only use it on half a 2x4 tent but I planned to try the experiment with the 4x4 ... one with, one without.

Yeah, I wasn't sure about what kind of adjustments it had. The biggest difference is 1 light per tent vs 2 per tent but if it helps it helps and that's what we're trying to figure out. ;)

Out of curiosity what would you advise for a vegging light in the 4x4?

On the HID side 600w MH (or CMH according to psuagro) upto to 1000w HPS but you'd have to keep the light farther above the tops than normal. Nothing above 1000w, imho. If you were using a 1000W HPS on a dimmable ballast like the solis tek matrix you would use less energy while the plants are small but you could pump up the wattage at the end of veg before flower. You couldn't do that with the CMH.

On the LED side; something like a SS800w or, even better, four SF200w vegmaster (or 2 each vm/fullcycle) would probably be good.

4x200w imho is more efficient, simple physics.

tbh im inclined to keep all led for this 2x4 and 2x2 and when I build a 4x8 and 4x4 Ill go HID only.

Looking good Frank!!
Nice to see that they have reached the screen and you can start weaving them soon.
Looks like the LED's you are using are doing some good work!

Looks like a few of the tips have nute burn on them?
Not too sure if i see some brown tips on some of the top leaves.

Nah, it's light green, the purple of the LED make it look yellow or brownish on photo. they're young leaves and when they finish growing the tip always look light green like that. it's weird but as the leaf grow it disapears.

I have now brought up temps in the tent to 90F during the day, and 75F at night. For two days now. No issue so far.
