California Lightworks Solarflare 200w stays on?

Postby lawless25 » Tue Oct 16, 2012 6:50 pm

Hi this is my first post here and if this is in the wrong section my fault.

Ive had my Solarflare 200w Fullcycle in use for a little over a week now. Im currently on 12 hours on/12 hours off with the aid of a digital timer. My question is this

Why does my light stay on when the timers set for off? The solarflare still gives off a bit of light, I can see my hand about 2 inches away from the light in room I worked hard to lightproof. Is this normal? is it broken? Do I have to send it it in for fixing?

Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forums, sorry about your light.

I think that's a problem and you should contact CLW support:

CLW support email: support@californialightworks.com

I've heard nothing but good regarding CLW support so I'm sure you'll be taken care of...

It's your digital timer, it allows a trickle charge to pass by design......replace with a mechanical timer and the issue should go away......good luck grower.

Please don't dig up threads that have been dead for months...

I assume they contacted CLW support and got the issue fixed by now...even if it was the timer.
