Hey Eek,

Everything looks real good there, I am intrigued by your method of putting the plastic bottle pots right into the larger roots pots, how much of bottle do you remove before transplant?

I have had a lot of success with cloning in my homemade aeroponic unit, basically a bubbling 5 gal Rubbermaid but with a long , 20" flexible air stone for coverage. The bubbles break on the surface of the reservoir, gently misting the bottom of the stems which are suspended an inch above. Ill put some pics up in my journal. Seems like they almost always root in there without fail, using just pure water no nutes or rooting hormones. Just an idea... 8-)

Hi LL

Thanks for checking it all out. I am liking the light. I don't know if it will do me for all my endeavors, but for auto's and for my own stash, it will be fine I think.

Bye for now

Mr. Dirt,

I only claim usage. I got this method off of Autoflower network. This is a method a lot of Auto growers use. Because of the short vegetative time, transplanting in the usual way takes away from the growth of the plant, but not the time period it needs to cycle. So in order to not inhibit growth they just "Tier" thier transplants, setting them right on top of the soil, instead of putting them down IN the soil. There is less shock this way, if any. the way you do it, is before you plant your seedling, cut the bottoms of the cups off, about a third of the way down, then tape them back together. fill your cups like normal with the seedling. When they are ready to be uppotted, just remove the tape, and the bottoms of the cups, and set the top of the cup in the center of the pot, surround it with soil, and Voila!

Now I did this on a bit bigger scale, because my wife likes lots of roots, I did it with two liter soda bottles. All the covered part of the plants stem, will turn into roots with enough time. ( I have even had leaf stems turn into roots when burried.
Thanks for taking the time to look. I will go check out your grow again, maybe you will have those pics of your aero-clones.

Okay here are some pictures. Fed them some molasses, they will get that two times a week for the rest of bloom.
I gave them all trims. they were getting absolutely no pentration of light passed the canopy, So I opened them up a bit with that. I also applied what I called athe PPMS or Personal Plant Micro Scrog, to one of the plants. You shall see how it works in the pictures I think. Any questions, let me know.

Hi Everyone, I will update my journal now. California Lightworks LED 400w

Awesome light. These girls are coming out nice as Heck. I got some beautiful internodal spacing. I think I got about another foot of stretch on these, but I cannot be so certain. Just figurin', based on experience with hybrids. I know it will not be exactly, but it will be close. Also, I have a couple of pheno's I have a fat indica looking one, and the other three have sativa qualities to them as well. This is a 80/20 indica hybrid, and the three do have the indica hybrid bushy look to them, but the last one is squat and has fatter leaves.

Oh, and by the way, confirmed 4/1 female to male ratio, must be me? Ha ha ha

Okay here are some pictures.

Looking great Eek! I enjoyed checking out the pics. I noticed the canopy in your SS room is more open on the left side than the right...is that so you can compare and see how it affects the yield or is it different Phenos? I just got to thinking why it was like that and am curious...Sorry if you had already discussed this before, I forgot

Also did the cfl plants start around the same time as the others?

Somewhat yes, lol. the ones on the left are just positioned that way, and it looks lopsided. I am always repositioning them so they can get the best light exposure. So I guess it is coincindence.

No the Cheese Auto was about a week behind, and the Autp Dragons are about two weeks behind them, though they surely will finish first.

Hello folks,

I thought I would update my grow as promised. Things are starting to happen now. We collected the pollen from the only male we had AFTER he spent time with the Number 4 female. It was the fastest female to mature. They spent the better part of the morning getting jiggy with each other. then She got a bath and he got the chop We got about a two teaspoons of pollen. I also got some Auto Dragon pollen too, but that is another jounal.

The PPMS (micro scrog) is coming along fine. Serious budsites everywhere. Could have used a bigger screen. My original design had room for more screen, shoulda went with that.

The Sprocket LST plant looks Way Sweet!

The others are going to fill in nice as well

Here are the pictures.
