In theory, it should work and I had the same idea; convert a tent into a large drying/curing humidor. Of course you'd want something to compare that to so you could slow cure some of the harvest in jars and water cure part as a test.

I'll cure 1-2 jars, one big bud in water, and the rest in the humidor, and we'll see what happens.

Day 100-48

Things are getting frosty. Still another 30 days of flower to go.

The time for rigorous thrich inspection will soon come, looks like 3.5x magnification will suffice in that regard. I had thought of getting a microscope objective for more details, but it will not be necessary. This is a a macro shot of the plant photographed for the #day44 update. At 100% crop, you can see the details well enough.

The end is near!

Day 103-51

Any idea as to why this flower's pistils are already drying more than other flowers? Nute burn? Heat?

Was it one of the first flowers? Is it directly under the light or on an edge? I see a nute burned tip on the upper left but I wouldn't worry about it too much, they aren't going to be exactly the same all over.

Definitely one of the first, and because it grew sideways somehow (because of how the branch came out of the net), the flower is exposed to continuous unobstructed light with 0% shade.

Perhaps it's just maturing faster than the rest... ;)

I just bought an oz of critical mass to get me to the harvest, and the guy told me I might have to dry it out a bit further. I asked him if he cured his buds before selling and he said no.

Is it standard practice in Cali to sell uncured buds? Are curing/drying times advertised in dispensaries? Seems like an important detail considering the drying and curing process do impact flavor and harshness/smoothness?

It depends, the top-shelf meds are always cured but there is no curing disclosure at the dispensaries here. If it's harsh (uncured) or wet they'll get paid much less or maybe even rejected. You could always test different curing methods on that ounce. none/short/water/slow... ;)
