Good Morning Everyone,

Thought I would do an update on the California Light Works Solar Storm 400 watt LED with UVB.

I thought I would say that I chopped the Cheese Auto, I didn't do enough research on the Hercules (root) pots that I am using. They needed to be lined with the cloth liners, and I didn't do that. I lost a lot of soil out of the slits and the sides. Enough where my soil become extremeley loose, and what I believe hindered more growth. My nutes probably filtered out as well because on my Karma Dragons, I have a bit of a Nitrogen deficiency. No lock out, PH is 6.5 I added some magnesium and some all purpose nutrients to the topsoil. hopefully that will delay the fade.

The Blackberry's are not suffering like the smaller pots are. The were big enough I guess To hold the soil, and it stayed compacted. So, I am not having an issue with them, but I am on the alert.

The Dynamites are getting bigger, Huge fan leaves. Good spacing. I got four in the same pots as the BBK's, but two of them have the pot liner's in them (these liners are nothing more than weed netting cloth), and I can already see the difference since I uppotted Last Thrusday, The lined ones have shot up an inch or so past the other ones, but it is still to early to tell for sure.

I have started 10 Vendetta OG's. I have absolutely NO information on these, I couldn't find anything three months ago when I got them, maybe I will do anew search. 6 have cracked so far.

Okay here are some pictures.

See these two, the one in the front, and the one in the back. The closer one is regular plant. The one behind it, has been seeded. For the most part, before the development of seeds, it was like the one in front. But NOW, it is clearly started to droop its flowers compared to the vibrant uplifting leaves of the other BBK's

As you know, a little yellowing (and some leaf drop) towards the end of their life cycle is common and may not need more nitrogen. If you're close to harvesting I wouldn't worry about the N. ;)

Disclaimer:
I still use HID and I'm NOT an LED expert. All of my LED knowledge is from other parties or research so I can't say from first hand experience one way or another. I also run a medical grow consulting business in SoCal.

Absolutely SME,

I was a bit worried at first. But, I have noticed the BBK's fading, it looks like a normal fade. The Dragons which were N deficient, are in better shape now. One plant went back to all green (but has also started to turn since) so's she can finish up. Their fade is also looking normal now. These Dragons are supposed to have a high CBD content, and I think I notice a lot less trichomes on them as well, but I don't know if that is related. I would think that the CBD was in the 'goo' as well, but I am not so sure about that, I will have to check with my Root66/GF.

UPDATE:

I am here to update my California Lightworks Solar Storm 400 watt LED with U/V.

The BBK's are coming right along. No serious isssues on this grow, which is a blessing. The best part about this stage is seeing the difference in the growth upon seeing the updates.

The Dynamite's are getting FAT, with a capital P. I will throw a serious picture show today.

here are the pics...

I took a clone from each dynamite, with sexing early in mind, got to stay in the law, so this is a way of determing sex before I put the big ones in the tent, keep one for seeding the clone seperate, etc.

How's your pH and ec/ppm been? Some of those pics look like lockout issues which can be caused by either pH or nutrient toxicity. Some of it does look like natural yellowing too...

the PH was 7.1 IN, 6.8 out so 6.4 or 6.5 there abouts. She stays pretty steady, she doesn't seem like anything is locking out, all systems seem to be on track. it has calcium, magnesium and the trace elements needed, The soil in these big pots didn't loosen like the little pots so I didn't see them having an issue. But, it looks normal to me so far, if it gets any worse, then I will see what I can do. only about two maybe three weeks left.

Bye the way, you can't really tell, but the Seeded plant, has NO fade at all, but is droopy compared to the others.

bye for now
